They are getting more insane by the day, seriously! Now One"News"Now is complaining no mainstream media outlet is writing about their stupid TEA-party event tomorrow, April 15th.
You probably don't know about this, because it's a futile and absolutely non-news worthy event, but TEA stands for Taxed Enough Already, and is some strange protest against taxes not even imposed yet. Strangely enough, they even want to protest the fact that cigarettes will be taxed higher. I thought these people were all about life, but apparantly all is fair in Obama bashing, so now the table has turned and smoking suddenly is a right you cannot deny the poor. Sure...
Anyway, the American Family Association, which is the mother organisation of One"News"Now has organised these TEA-parties, therefore proving this another example of One"News"Now being anything but objective. How, in all fairness, can you write a critical story about an event you are responsible for yourself? In other words: bogus.
Furthermore, the reason why mainstream media isn't picking up on this, is simply because AFA is less and less a force to be reckoned with, so this is simply a non-issue to them. Conservative Right is now screaming bloody murder for being discriminated, which is of course a bullshit argument. There's simply no news in this stupid event.
Last but not least, as far as I know, news is news only when it actually happens, not before. The TEA-parties will be held tomorrow, so why should they be news now?
Of course, after tomorrow they'll find something else to protest against, as that's all these sad people can do.
