The best damn thing

Sometimes you have to admit when you're wrong, and that's what I'm about to do.

I've spend the last year writing nasty things about Avril Lavigne, because I thought her career was over after second album Under My Skin. To me, it seemed she turned into a Chanel-clone desperately trying to maintain relevant.

Of course, I still liked the songs from her albums Let Go (after all, that was the first gift I ever got from my ex boyfriend Roel) and Under My Skin, , but I have to admit I thought she was finished after that.

Little did I know I should have just taken the time to listen to her third album The Best Damn Thing. My friend Martijn gave it to me as a birthday present, and I love it! It definitely proves Avril is anything but gone! It's a great album, even better than Under My Skin!
