Michael Jackson delays shows

Michael Jackson is delaying some shows of his This Is It concert run at the O2 Arena London, leaving fans furious! Says The Sun:

Jacko's reps and the tour's promoters confirmed tonight that the first show will now take place on Monday, July 13 - five days later than originally planned.

The next three shows scheduled to take place on July 10, 12 and 14 have now been moved to the end of the tour - in MARCH 2010.

The decision was taken to cater for "challenges presented by such a massive and technically complex show," according to a statement released today.

Randy Phillip, President and CEO of AEG Live who are producing and promoting the tour added: “Kenny Ortega [Jackson's directorial partner and creative collaborator] and Michael are, at the same time, both creative pioneers and perfectionists.

"This show has grown in size and scope, thereby, necessitating more lead time for manufacture of the set, programming the content for the massive video elements, and, most importantly, more time for full production and dress rehearsals in the world’s busiest arena, The O2.

What a fuckface Michael Jackson is indeed! People are travelling from all over the world to see this show, and they've been booking air travel, hotels and who knows what else. Delaying a show costs a fortune to fans rom abroad.

Shame on you, Michael Jackson!
