Rapper Jay-Z has left his record company Def Jam Records. Jay-Z was CEO of the company, signing stars such as Rihanna and Ne-Yo.
The 39-year old rapper wants total self control over his career, and therefor decided to go independent.
Usually, not a very wise move!
