As I mentioned earlier, I went to see Angels & Demons at the cinema this evening. The first Dan Brown movie, The Da Vinci Code, didn't really do it for me, but I'd heard so many good things about this new one, I decided to go see it anyway. Luckily, Anneke wanted to see it as well, so it was going to be a fun night no matter how the movie turned out.
Turns out: the movie was great! Much, much, much better than The Da Vinci Code. The story is comprehensible, the special effects are great, and there's a superb plot twist near the end. I'm not going to spoil it for you in case you haven't seen the movie yet, but believe me: you won't see that one coming.
So, if you haven't done so yet, go to the cinema and see Angels & Demons. It's a movie that really needs the big screen, so don't wait for the DVD.
