This weekend, the United States have succesfully shot a test missile from the MinuteMan III type, which is their current ICBM carrying nuclear weapons. The missile was shot from California to the Pacific, where all three re-entry vehicles (obviously not loaded with real nukes) hit their targets.
Now of course I know these missiles need to be tested now and again, to make sure they are ready as a detterent if the need rises, but is it really such a good time to test them now?
I mean, it sounds a bit hypocritical the United States are condemning North Korea for conducting missile test shots, while firing one themselves.
Perhaps it would have been better if they had postponed their test shot to a less tensed time?
