Amy Winehouse's mother Janis has told Closer Magazine Amy is finally doing better. Janis goes as far as proclaiming they've got the old Amy back, from before all this crazy shit happened.
She says her daughter's prolonged stay at the island of St. Lucia has done wonders for her. Amy couldn't get any harddrugs on the island, so instead she started drinking. According to her mother, though, she's working on that as well now, so she should recover completely in just a short while.
Although I have to admit I always have to laugh whenever I see Amy stumble, it's still a very good thing she's finally getting her things back together.
