Fantastic news

We need a bit of a laugh, don't we? This letter was in the Letters To The Editor section at WND*Mart yesterday:

WND: 'Only news organization of this era'
As a disabled veteran, I did not get out. I did not participate in a "tea party," however much I wanted to. It simply was not an option. I am one of "the millions these people represent" whom you spoke of.

The truth is, your statement does sound self-serving, but when the entire industry treats you like a bag of sh--, denies your legitimacy, makes fun of your reporters, ignores events that matter, makes hay out of nothing, pretends it has produced the "major story of the day" and otherwise does everything in its power to avoid doing its duty and purpose, sometimes it is necessary to remind all those people not getting the news, that there is a source of news – even when no one is even slightly interested in bringing it to you, except one man, you.

I don't expect they will ever erect a statue of you anywhere, name you "journalist of the year" or WND "the newspaper of record." But if this nation survives with even a vestige of the liberty we once had and were known for, you will go down on record as the only news organization of this era, and it will be studied by future journalists if freedom re-assumes its rightful position in the world, offsetting the ever-present evil, to the highest degree its followers are up to proffering their lives, their blood and their purpose to continue what they inherited as "posterity" of real freedom lovers, our founders.

Some of us will remember you as if we were personal friends and well known to each other, to the last day of our life, as that last day will probably be before our time. If a man can do nothing else in the face of evil, he can at least stand until his legs are taken from under him, and he can shout until his voice is taken away, and he can die knowing he never stopped doing what was right.

I pray for the best, prepare for the worst, and expect something somewhere in between. You are a staunch reminder of what we confront, and you are greatly appreciated.

It´s especially funny how this guy continues to call WND*Mart a news outlet. Pathetic how people still believe this highly commercial, and very biased website, is anything like that.
