Kim Jong-il, North Korea's insane leader, is rumoured to be suffering from pancreatic cancer, which basically means he has less than five years to live.
With a government that operates in so much secrecy, of course we can never be sure, but there have been many reports these past couple of months of him not looking so well (as if he ever did). Also, rumours his youngest son is to follow in his footsteps as the new North Korean leader makes it more probable Jong-il is ready to step aside any time soon.
Unfortunately, there's a pretty big chance his son will lead the country in the exact same way (which is: insane) as his father does. There's a barely a chance this will benefit the people of North Korea.
