Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is asking the residents of LA for money, to pay for the enormous expensives involved with the Michael Jackson memorial service, which is going on as I'm writing this, at Staples Center in downtown L.A.
Although I can understand the City of Los Angeles cannot pay for these expensives all by themselves, it should have been either AEG Live! or the Jackson family, to chip in.
It's quite scandalous for both these parties to not donate any money, while knowing Los Angeles is spending an outrageous amount of money on crowd control and police forces, just for this event.
