Chocolate - live at TOTP

Watch Kylie Minogue perform Chocolate, at Top Of The Pops!

Looking fabulous

Whitney Houston is on the cover of the September issue of Ebony Magazine, looking fabulous!

And more importantly: she's told the magazine she's going on tour! I wanna go!

Wasp invasion

Apparently, I'm not the only one who gets freaked out by wasps. P!nk told her Twitter fans she's having the same problem (she's back at home in between the Australian and North American legs of her Funhouse Tour), but, being the vegetarian she is, she doesn't want to kill them:

wasps nests are invading my backyard!!!!! is there a way to not kill them? maybe get a wasp interpreter to kindly ask them to leave?!?

Don't forget, you can also follow me on Twitter by clicking here!

Rest in pieces

The slogan for the new Final Destination movie (which, by the way, enjoyed a KILLER weekend at the box office in the United States), made me laugh:

Rest In Pieces

Brilliant tag line!

Welcome to Israel

Madonna has arrived in Israel, where she will play her final two Sticky & Sweet shows (this never ending tour is finally over...) in Tel Aviv. She arrived yesterday, and visited the Western Wall in Jerusalem (picture above). This time, she didn't even call the press 'sons of whores', as she did the last time she was on tour in Israel, during the 1993 Girlie Show World Tour.

In between shows she will meet with both Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and opposition leader Tzipi Livni.

Madonna's tour manager, Chris Lambs, has told the press to expect a surprise during the show on Wednesday, the last one. Tickets are still available, although in good LiveNation fashion this show will no doubt be called sold out later this week.

The best

American Kylie Minogue fans are in real luck! For her upcoming For You For Me Tour, Kylie is putting together a show that combines the best elements out of her previous tours.

Since Kylie has never toured in the United States and Canada before, most fans never had the chance to see On A Night Like This, KylieFever, ShowGirl, Homecoming or KylieX2008. By combining elements from all these previous shows, they will now get the best of all of them, neatly packed in one show.

Sounds awesome! I wish I could be there!

Volle maan

Tonight on Dutch television: Dutch feelgood movie Volle Maan, starring Cas Jansen, Daan Schuurmans and Georgina Verbaan.

Out on Broadway

Day by day, Britney Spears seems to become more of a normal person, and more of a normal mother (as far as that's possible, being in the spotlights all the time).

Earlier this week, in between The Circus Starring Britney Spears shows at Madison Square Garden, Britney took her children, Jaydon James and Sean Preston, to Broadway, to see the musical version of Shrek. It was their second time in one week on Broadway, as last week Britney took them to see Disney's The Little Mermaid.

Nice to see them doing so well!

Goodbye note

As I mentioned earlier today, P!nk is playing her final Australian Funhouse show tonight. It's showtime in Australia, so P!nk wrote a little goodbye note to her Australian fans on Twitter:

Here we go. One more time and then we are going to go take over the USA. Thankyou Sydney!!! And all of OZ. We make a cute couple. :)

I'm sure they'll miss her, but I for one can't wait until December 6, when I will see the Funhouse Tour for the second time, at Ahoy Rotterdam!

One of the boys

Speaking of Katy Perry, see what a hilarious review my friends at PluggedIn Online wrote about her album, One Of The Boys. Remember, PluggedIn Online is part of Focus On The Family, so these sort of stupid reviews were to be expected. By the way, I've got this album, and love it!

Katy Perry One of the Boys

Pro-social content
Several songs contain passing nods to prayer. On "One of the Boys" Perry embraces her femininity and warns a guy seeking sex, "Not until you gimme my diamond ring." "Fingerprints" alludes to Matthew 7:24-27 and talks of living life with gusto and leaving a legacy. Unfortunately ...

Objectional content
That song contains a muted s-word and mentions homeless people trading sex for lodging. The malicious "Ur So Gay" insults a boyfriend Perry claims is so effeminate that he could pass for a homosexual. She refers to male anatomy and masturbation, telling the guy she hopes he dies during autoerotic asphyxiation. More bitter barbs and profanity mar "Hot N Cold." The hit "I Kissed a Girl" finds a woman giddy after alcohol leads to a forbidden smooch with a female stranger ("You're my experimental game ... Ain't no big deal, it's innocent"). Sexual innuendo appears on "If You Can Afford Me" and "Thinking of You," while "One of the Boys" draws inspiration from Vladimir Nabokov's teen temptress, Lolita. An underage couple get drunk and blow their money before "Waking Up in Vegas." "I'm Still Breathing" is a musical suicide note to a boyfriend—a last-ditch attempt to get some reaction.

Summary advisory
One chorus on this angry, disturbed disc asks, "Have you ever been so lost?/Known the way and still so lost?" Interesting, coming from a former Christian artist (as Katy Hudson) who left to follow idols like Alanis Morissette. Pray this prodigal finds her way home.

Thinking of you

Katy Perry proves she can deliver the goods live as well, with this beautiful version of Thinking Of You, at the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

First look: Zac Efron in Entourage

The first promo picture of Zac Efron in Entourage!

Zac shot these scenes back in June at Niketown in Beverly Hills. Another scene also took place at the Grand Trianon meeting room at the Beverly Wilshire, a luxury hotel at Wilshire Blvd. and Rodeo Drive.

Entourage episode “Security Briefs” airs on Sunday, September 13 @ 10:30PM ET/PT on HBO.

Your circus moment

Take That is doing a nice competition where you can send in your stories and pictures from their recently completely The Circus Live 2009 Tour. There's not so much of a prize involved, but you can get selected to have your story published on Take That's official homepage, which is nice enough.

To check out some of the previously selected stories and pictures, click here!

Oasis split up

Noel Gallagher left Oasis last night! The guitarist/singer of the rockband announced his decision on the Oasis official website last night. All remaining tour dates have been cancelled immediately.

His departure from the band is a result of his ongoing fights with brother and bandmate Liam Gallagher. The feud has been going on for several years, but has reached a climax in the past couple of weeks. The first real signs of Noel leaving the band came last weekend, when Oasis cancelled their performance on V Festival in the UK. Also, the skipped the Rock En Seine Festival in Paris, France last night.

Noel says: "It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer. Apologies to all the people who bought tickets for the shows in Paris, Konstanz and Milan."

A sad day for rock music!

Walking pharmacy

Michael Jackson's death is now officially being treated as a homicide case, Los Angeles police announced yesterday. Aside from on overdose of Propofol, the coroner also found traces of Lorazepam, Midazolam, Diazepam, Lidocaïne and Efedrine in Michael's blood.

So Michael's body was a sort of walking pharmacy, with that many different types of drugs in him. Charges haven't been pressed against his doctor, Conrad Murrray, yet, but an investigation is going on as we speak, so they could be pressed in the near future.

This raises only one big question... when will this guy finally be buried?

Back in Europe

After a bit of promotion, Mika is back in London, ready to start promoting his upcoming album The Boy Who Knew Too Much. I hope he's doing loads of TV shows, cause I want to see We Are Golden performed live!

Moreover, I would really like him to announce some European tour dates, pregferably in the Netherlands (Ahoy Rotterdam comes to mind). I loved his show the last time round at Westerpark Amsterdam, and I think he should at least do some dates in Europe. We're the ones that made him a star, and so it seems a bit unfair the only tour dates announced up until now, are the ones in the United States.

Let's see what happens, the album isn't even out yet, so there's plenty of time left to announce the dates!

Real deal

As I wrote yesterday, Miley Cyrus is getting some recognition as a serious singer. Well, if what she wrote on Twitter today is true, I have to say I have a little more respect for her myself:

Hey. Wanna know why I don't sound just like the record live? CAUSE I'M ACTUALLY SINGING without a bunch of effects like everybody else does.

I hate it when so-called ´artists' do nothing but lipsynching when they're on stage, so if she really does sing live all the time, that's something to applaud. And, I must admit, something I didn't expected.

Good for her!

A view to a kill

Tonight on Dutch television: James Bond classic A View To A Kill, starring Roger Moore.

Final show

P!nk is playing her final Australian Funhouse show tonight, at the Acer Arena in Sydney. She's been in the country for over three months, setting a record for amount of shows by any non-Australian artist. She deserves is! On Twitter, she said this morning:

58TH N FINAL FUNHOUSE AUSTRALIAN SHOW TONIGHT. MAY-JUHH. thanks oz for adopting me and helping make "herstory" :) stick a fork in me! BUBBA!

Don't forget, you can also follow me on Twitter by clicking here!

It's all your fault - live in Sydney

Watch P!nk sing It's All Your Fault during her Funhouse Tour, at the Sydney Entertainment Center.

Wonderful performance!

Zac Efron paints balls

Zac Efron painted this baseball for Subway and the Little League World Series to bring awareness to the 1st Annual Baseball Design Across America Tour, which is meant to get kids interested in sports.

Fans can log onto eBay.com, input key words “Baseball Design Across America” in the search window and find a host of signed baseballs. All proceeds from the online auction will go to Little League Baseball.

Compelled to make a statement

Madonna has said she was "compelled" to comment on the discrimination of Romany Gypsies while on stage in Romania, despite being booed by fans.
The 51-year-old was jeered by the audience in Bucharest after saying the discrimination "made me feel very sad".

Publicist Liz Rosenberg said Madonna made the comments after being made aware of the prejudice towards Romany people in eastern Europe.

The star uses a group of Roma musicians on her Sticky and Sweet tour.
Madonna paused during her two-hour show to say: "It has been brought to my attention, that there is a lot of discrimination against Romanies and Gypsies in general in Eastern Europe - it made me feel very sad."

"We don't believe in discrimination, we believe in freedom and equal rights for everyone."

The star then received more boos when she mentioned prejudice against homosexuals and others.
Rosenberg said Madonna had told her there were cheers as well as jeers from the 60,000-strong crowd.

"Madonna has been touring with a phenomenal troupe of Roma musicians who made her aware of the discrimination toward them in several countries so she felt compelled to make a brief statement," she added.

Concert goer Ionut Dinu, 23, said: "I jeered her because it seemed false what she was telling us. What business does she have telling us these things?"
Romania has the largest number of Roma in eastern Europe.

Nearly half of Europe's estimated 12 million Roma claimed to have suffered an act of discrimination over the past 12 months, according to a recent report by the EU Fundamental Rights Agency.

The agency says Roma face "overt discrimination" in housing, health care and education.

Cry baby

One of my favourite websites of lunatics, WND*Mart, has done it again! Founder and head of insanity Joseph Farah has written his ‘editorial’ (you can hardly call it that, but that’s not just today, but every day) about how he’s being bullied by Wikipedia. According to Farah, Wikipedia has written a one sided and unbalanced article about his website, WorldNetDaily. Ah, poor baby… were the other kids in school mean to you?

Wikipedia basically wrote the truth about WorldNetDaily, calling them a right wing fanatics organisation, which is exactly what they are. A ‘news’ site that calls Barack Obama the Antichrist (they have literally said this) cannot be taken seriously, now can they? In fact, the ‘news’ items on their site, are just as much editorials as the editorials themselves, as the ‘news’ items are always biased as hell. Of course, their readers call them fair, balanced and objective, but that’s because conservatives don’t really understand that ‘fair, balanced and objective’ does not necessarily mean ‘agrees with everything I believe’. Furthermore, every article on WND*Mart is nothing more than a plug to buy one of their books, DVDs, bumper stickers or whatever crappy merchandise it is they’re having up for sale nowadays. You cannot find one article that doesn’t have at least 5 links in it, conveniently linking to the appropriate articles in their store.

So, Joseph Farah, perhaps you shouldn’t be wasting your time accusing Wikipedia of actually speaking the truth about you. Perhaps you should just quit your hatespreading, vile, meanspirited sad excuse for a ‘news’ site.

For the rest of you, if you want a laugh, click here to read this idiot’s “article”.

Behind the scenes

The lovely Kylie Minogue was kind enough to send her Twitter fans another great photo behind the scenes while creating her new album.

Lovely, as always!

This means war

As reported a couple of weeks ago, Hillary Duff will play a role in the third season of my favourite show Gossip Girl. We weren't sure what role she would be fitting, but now it's obvious: she becomes the new love interest of Dan Humphry (played by the gorgeous Penn Badgley).

In this picture they're just walking on the street together, but there have been some kissing pictures shot as well, so it's pretty safe to say the new season will see a major fight between Hillary's character, and Serena Van der Woodsen, played by Penn's real life girlfriend Blake Lively.

Interesting!!!

Serious singer?

As improbable as it seems, it appears as if Miley Cyrus' new Wal*Mart EP is actually a big step up from her previous work. Insteas of the usual Disney bubblegum music, several sources on the internet, who have been given sneak previews, say the album is actually quite good.

Could she really become a serious singer, instead of one of the Disney clones?

Click here to listen to one of her new songs, called Obsessed.

Bavaria open air

There's a new music festival in the Netherlands, and it's happening as I'm writing this: Bavaria Open Air, sponsored by the beer company from Lieshout. Sponsored as it is, naturally the festival is taking place in Lieshout, near the brewery.

Today and tomorrow, there will be all kinds of Dutch bands and singers, and the lineup sounds cool enough (although you will probably know none of these names if you're from outside the Netherlands): Kane, Novastar, Blof, Guus Meeuwis, Rowwen Hèze, Acda en de Munnik, Racoon, Het Goed Doel, Milow and Ilse DeLange.

I might want to go next year!

Obama's vineyard

President Barack Obama and his family are enjoying a vacation in Martha's Vineyard, the place where the movie Jaws was filmed more than 30 years ago.

I wonder how a president enjoys a vacation? Isn't there press around at every corner? Aren't there civilians (voters!) who want an autograph and a picture? Or does he go totally secluded in some upscale resort?

Anyway, here's a nice little picture of him and his children on the beach (perhaps the beack where we saw the attacks on Christine Watkins and Alex Kintner in Jaws).

That's a threat

Lily Allen is always up for a good scandal. This time, she's been threatening Perez Hilton through her Twitter account:

what an evil bastard, i hate this man. someone better watch themselves. And yes, that is a threat.

Hilarious!!! I can't wait to see her at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam in October!

Don't forget, you can also follow me on Twitter by clicking here!

I wanna know what love is

Although I'm definitely not a Mariah Carey fan, I have to say this song from her new album, Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel, is beautiful.

It's the second single in Europe, and it's a cover of Foreigner's hit single I Wanna Know What Love Is.

This could actually become a hit!

The judge says: party

What do you do after you've been sentenced to community service, as well as having been slapped with a restraining order? Well, normal people would probably feel sad and lock themselves up.

Not Chris Brown though! After the judge ruled on his abusive behaviour towards ex-girlfriend Rihanna, he went clubbing at the LA Lounge with some friends. As soon as the DJ played a Michael Jackson song, he went wild and gave the rest of the crowd a private dance show.

This guy really need someone to watch over his public image. How dumb can he be?

At the VMA's

After her disastrous performance on the MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) two years ago, Britney Spears will be performing at the ceremony again this year. She even recorded a promo trailer, togeth with host Russell Brand.

Hopefully she won't lipsynch in her underwear again. Then again, this is Britney we're talking about... she probably will.

Spice it up

Former Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell, and her daughter Bluebell Madonna, sure look like they're having a lot of fun on their Summer holiday! Geri is on vacation to St Tropez with her daughter, and her boyfriend Henry Beckwith.

Nice to see her looking so great, she´s always been my favourite Spice Girl!

Bye bye, Big Brother

One of the last countries in the world that still airs Big Brother, the United Kingdom, now finally calls it quits as well. The current season, season 11, will be the last, Channel 4 confirmed.

I never really understood why people liked watching Big Brother in the first place. Sure, it's funny the first time round, but then you realise these people are incredibly boring, and basically you're just watching your neighbours. What's the fun in that?

In the UK, Big Brother has always been a scndal-filled show, with 'newspaper' The Sun dedicating an entire section of their website to it daily. Perhaps that's the reason this particular version lasted so much longer than the ones in the rest of the world.

Too bad for the fans, but I'm sure Channel 4 will come with something new, and just as stupid.

Payday loans

Have you ever heard of the concept Payday Loans? If not, don’t waorry, because that means you have never come into contact with them, which is a very good thing! Until recently, I didn’t know what they were, but then all of a sudden they were all over Dutch press.

A Payday Loan, is a small loan that’s granted as an advance on one’s next payday (hence the name), for people who don’t have enough money left at the end of the month. After their next paycheck, they are required to pay the loan off in a short time (usually about 21 days). It sounds innocent enough, but beware, cause it is far from innocent.

First of all, Payday Loans charge outrageous amounts of interest, like 20 Euro’s on a loan of 100 Euro’s. This means a 20% percent interest rate for just that period, but an APR of hundreds of percents. You must be pretty desperate for cash if you’re willing to pay that amount of money. Which brings me to the next danger of payday loans: they’re used by people who can basically not afford them. If they could, they wouldn’t be needing a payday loan in the first place, right? Besides, with so many loan sharks on the market, it’s quite possible to pay of your loan from company A with a loan from company B, meaning you will never get out of debt.

In the Netherlands, a Payday Loan (known as Microkrediet here) can be obtained by way of sending a text message with the desired amount. Way too easy, and way too tempting for people who shouldn’t be taking loans in the first place.

I’m surprised a dangerous scheme like this is even legal, but fortunately, Dutch authorities are going to pass laws in order to protect people from themselves.

Chiggy wiggy

Kylie Minogue goes Bollywood! Check out this clip from upcoming movie Blue, in which Kylie sings a song called Chiggy Wiggy.

She looks lovely, and it's a fun little song!

Too young to sail

Perhaps some of you have heard of Laura Dekker, a 13 year old Dutch girl who wants to sail around the world on her own. She’s planning a journey on her sailing boat Guppy, meant to last for about two years. On her own…

Apparently, her parents are totally okay with this, which sounds utterly ridiculous to me. How on earth can you expect a 13 year old girl to be safe while sailing around the world? I mean, I presume a journey like that isn’t even safe for a grownup, much less a child.

Thankfully, a Dutch judge agrees, and has forbidden the girl fulfil her insane dream. Those parents should lose custody, this is nothing less than child abuse.

There he is again

It's been a while since we last saw him, but just when you were happy you probably never have to see his slow minded face again... there he is!

Former US President George W. Bush and his wife Laura will be present at Senator Ted Kennedy's funeral tomorrow. Yje ceremony will be held in Boston, where President Barack Obama will speak a few words, after which Edward (Ted) Kennedy will be buried on Arlington National Cemetery, alongside his brothers John F. Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy.

Up the ladder

This news made me smile: a bear caused some trouble in a suburb in the American state of Colorado, by stepping into a skateboard ramp, after which it couldn't get out anymore.

Instead of tranquilizing the bear, rescuers found a more inventive way to deal with the situation: the placed a ladder into the ramp, and hoped for the bear to climb out by itself.

As you can see on these pictures, it worked well! The bear got out safely, and went on its way!

Too provocative

During The Circus Starring Britney Spears, in New York City, a couple of fans were escorted out of the arena for dancing too provocative...

Excuse me? How can a fan dance too provocative when Britney herself is on the stage wearing next too nothing, dancing like she's a gogo girl or pole dancer? Shouldn't Britney Spears be escorted out of the building herself?

The two girls were caught by security while Britney was hanging from a pole on stage, singing her Blackout song Get Naked. One of the girls says she couldn't believe someone in the audience actually complained over their dance, as anyone who goes to a Britney Spears 'concert' must be aware of the nature of the show.

Absurd!

FHM goes gaga

Lady Gaga does it again! The singer is in this month's FHM Magazine, again looking like a common prostitute.

Really, what is it with her? She makes such great music, but why does she insist on looking so cheap all the time? Surely she could try to focus on the music just a little bit more?

Bommen berend

It's August 28th, and that means my hometown Groningen is celebrating Bommen Berend today! We'll have all sorts of live music, a fun fair, and big fireworks tonight!

I'm going to Ziena's boyfriend's birthday party tonight, and then afterwards we're all going to the Stadspark, where the fireworks will be held at midnight.

It's going to be a cool start for the weekend!

About a boy

Tonight on Dutch television: About A Boy, starring Hugh Grant. Nice movie!

Cheap trailer

After twi trailers with dancers and fans, finally here's a trailer from the Celebration video, actually starring Madonna herself.

It looks cheap, like the one she did for Give It 2 Me. I hope the final result will look a bit better. It comes out on September 1st, so there won't be much of a wait left.

Goodbye Australia

The Australian Funhouse Tour is almost over, after more than three months of shows Down Under. P!nk will play her final two show at the Acer Arena in Sydney, after which the tour will head to the United States, and then back to Europe.

P!nk wrote on her Twitter:

SYDNEY!!! last two shows tonight and tomorrow night! can u believe it? we've been together for 3 1/2 months. i feel like we're breaking up:(

Best of both worlds

Hannah Montana: The Movie is the #1 selling DVD in the United States this week, meaning the Walt Disney Company has another hit on its hands. Earlier the film made $80 million at then box office during the film release.

I know I'm not their target audience, but I still don't really get it why people are so into Miley Cyrus slash Hannah Montana. She's just another trashy Disney girl, and she doesn't even look that good (for a teenager, that is).

Anyone care to tell me?

Straight through my heart - the video

The Backstreet Boys have just released the video for their 'new' song Straight Through My Heart. Although I kinda liked the song, the video, as usual, is standard Backstreet Boys garbage.

Too bad, the song was nice enough to expect somewhat of a quality video.

Click here to watch the video.

Plot spoiler

If you don't want to know the main plot line for the second Sex And The City movie, then you have to stop reading here, and just skip to the next post.

Still here? okay, I warned you: Sex And The City 2 will be all about Sarah Jessica Parker's character, Carrie Bradshaw, going through menopause, and how it affects her relationship with Mr. Big.

No word yet on the storylines for the other three girls.

Booing in Bucharest

Earlier today I wrote about how Madonna's audience in Bucharest wasn't so happy with her little speech yesterday, and now I've found some video as well. The booing starts at the 45 seconds mark!

Enjoy the Bucharest audience!

Yesterland

Recently I ran into a really cool site called Yesterland, dedicated to rides, attractions and other landmarks, that were once in Disneyland, but have now been demolished.

The site has pictures of almost every former Disneyland landmark, and usually it has a nice story to go along with the pictures as well. It focuses primarely on Disneyland, but there are some articles on Walt Disney World as well.

If you're a Disneyland fan, like I am, it's a must-visit! Click here to have a look!

File the papers

Trouble in paradise! Rumour has it the marriage of Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley is in hard times, and apparently there have even been talks of divorce. It appears Deryck is angry with Avril for her partying around all over the world, without him. even worse, during these nights on the town, apparently Avril can't keep her hands of other guys, which naturally infuriates him.

If they do get into a nasty divorce, does that mean Avril will write a nice and angry album? In that case: file the papers!

This Saturday, the late Senator Ted Kennedy will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery, after being remembered and celebrated at Mission Hill church in Boston.

Arlington National Cemetery is the same place where President John F. Kennedy, and his brother Bobby Kennedy were buried.

President Barack Obama will take a break from his vacation in Martha's Vineyard to speak at the funeral, and he has ordered the flags fly at half-staff on federal buildings and at the White House.

Blackbook magazine

Speaking of Kylie Minogue, Blackbook Magazine has done a great interview with her, on the eve of her first ever North American tour. And, on top of the interview, they published some great pictures of her. I particularly like this Phantom Of The Opera style image!

Fun in the studio

As you know by now, Kylie Minogue is back in the studio to record her 11th studio album, and she been joined by none other than Calvin Harris (who wrote her hitsingle In My Arms, from the album X) and Jake Shears (from the Scissor Sisters, who wrote White Diamond with her, which she performed every night during the ShowGirl Homecoming Tour). With a succes team like that, it's bound to become a hit record.

And, to prove it's not all work and no play, her are some pictures of the three of them having fun in the studio!

The audience wasn't happy

Some concertgoers made their displeasure known with Madonna yesterday night in Bucharest after she spoke out against the discrimination of Gypsies in eastern Europe during her Sticky & Sweet concert in Park Izvor.

Madonna paused in the two-hour concert in Bucharest to say that Gypsies, also known as Roma, were discriminated against in eastern Europe. She said that made her "sad" and nobody should be discriminated against.

"It's been brought to my attention that there's a lot of discrimination against Romani and Gypsies in general in eastern Europe, and that makes me very sad," she told the crowd of 60,000. As she spoke, a vocal minority began booing her words. She did not acknowledge the jeers.

When she proclaimed, "We believe in freedom and equal rights for everyone!", you can actually here people yelling "No!", however the cheers of approving fans eventually drowned out the grumbling.

Roma musicians and a Roma dancer were featured in her show, held just yards from the giant palace of ex-communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu. Their performances were applauded by the crowd.

There are officially some 500,000 Roma in Romania, but the real number could be around 2 million. They face prejudice and discrimination in Romania and other east European nations.

Larger venues

Good news for P!nk! Finally the United States are starting to fall for her the way Europe and Australia have been doing for years.

The Funhouse Tour is about to head overseas to P!nk's homecountry, and it has now been announced ticket sales are exceeding expectations, meaning P!nk will be adding larger venues to her tour.

The Seattle show on September 15 has just been moved to the Key Arena (pictured above), which means a lot of extra tickets will become available for eager fans who didn't get a chance to buy them the first time round.

P!nk had this to say on Twitter:

that is so much crazy good news in one day- it's silly. i cant wait to show the US what Europe and OZ have known for years. :) good on ya

The new batch of tickets will go on sale this Saturday, 10 AM local time.
