On August 6 1945, the Japanese town of Hiroshima, was hit by the first atomic bomb -called Little Boy- in history. 70.000 People died instantly, and so many did afterwards because of the effects of radiation. Hiroshima was, and always will be, a tragedy.
Timezones may confuse a person, and so I thought it would take until today to get to August 6th at the same time as Japan. I was wrong (sorry to the Japan people), but, even though it's one day too late, I would like to take a moment for all the people who died in the horrible first use of nuclear weapons.
Later this month, I will use Totally Theo for another moment to think about the horrors of nuclear war, when we remember the 64th anniversary of the Nagasaki bomb, called Fat Man.
Let's all hope nuclear war will never, ever, occur again.
