This Is It!, the concert movie about Michael Jackson's rehearsels for his O2 Arena concerts, will be released to theatres on October 28th, but will only run for two weeks, Sony has announced.
"This film is Michael's gift to his fans," says director Kenny Ortega. "It's a very private, exclusive look into a creative genius's world. With this film, we get a rare portrait of Michael as he prepares for his final curtain call and what I believe was going to be his master work."
Tickets will be up for sale from September 27th, and you can count of them being sold out in record time.

Why just two weeks? Probably because they don't really have that many good footage and they figured the only to squeeze as much box office success out of this anyway is only showing the movie in such a small period that people wouldn't realise it's no good.
