Mariah Carey's album seems to be in trouble, even before it's released... Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel was already postponed, but rumour has it it will be postponed again, which could very well have everything to do with the failure of first single Obsessed to even enter the Billboard top ten singles chart.
Even worse, Mariah Carey has canceled performances on the Today Show, VH1 Storytellers, the MTV Video Music Awards, and receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
Why would you cancel heavy exposure with a new album coming out? It isn't going to sell itself you know. Could it be Mariah will get dumped by her record company? Well, in that case at least it's a procedure she's familiar with.
