Guy Ritchie's pub in London, The Punchbowl (that Madonna bought for him when they were still married) is in danger of losing its liquor license because of several complaints against the Mayfair watering hole.
It appears the pub is pretty noisy at night, so neighbours have filed as much as 37 complaints to get the place shut down. The Westminster Council have taken action by placing a microphone in a nearby building to monitor noise levels from the pub over the next few weeks. If it turns out the noise level is indeed too high, the place will be shut down.
Would this have happened when Madonna was still in charge? Remember, the sound level during her concerts is earsplitting, but I suppose when it comes to a bar, she would have been smarter.
