One"News"Now, as I mentioned countless times before, only believes in people's right to vote when they're voting the way One"News"Now wants them to. So, now that the people are voting on a gay rights issue in Kalamazoo, Michigan, they're already afraid they might lose, so they wrote something about a billionaire giving funds to fight for gay rights. That way, they can always blame the campaign for losing, instead of finally recognizing Christian Right is on the losing side, and will lose many similiar battles to come.
Fortunately, these days I'm not the only sane person cruising One"News"Now for fun anymore. The following comment hits the nail right on the head:
The "billionaire" portion was placed in there as a future "scape goat" for when the opposing side looses. This is so they have someone to blame for their loss. Kalamazoo will prevail and this measure will stand, the public will vote against rescinding it. But will that be the end of it? NO, then the opposition will find someone to take it to court. "The people voted so just deal," only applies when their side wins. When they lose they take it to court just as we would,but when we tell them that the "people voted", they will cry religious persecution. It is a no win situation with "christians". They have an excuse for everything, just like that whole "Jesus didn't really mean what he said when he condemned divorce". If it applies to them they find a way to "rework" what the Bible says in order to fit their way of life. Shame!
Apparently One"News"Now is getting so many comments disagreeing with them, they have loosened up a little with their censorship.
