Ultimate tribute or ultimate cash-in? You'll be the judge...
A number of stars, including Jermaine Jackson, Lionel Richie, Whitney Houston, Usher, Dionne Warwick, Wyclef and John Mayer are recording a new version of the Michael Jackson classic We Are The World.
While the profits of the new version are going to charity, one cannot admit this is really good free public relations for the artists involved. I imagine especially Whitney Houston, who is on the verge of her comeback, has a lot to gain from a song like this.
