Give a day

The Walt Disney Company announced a new campaign for their theme parks in 2010. For as many as 1 million people who volunteer through the HandsOn Network, Disney will honor the good deed by offering a free 1-day admission to any theme park, either at Disneyland or Walt Disney World Resort.

The deal, called ´Give A Day, Get A Disney Day´ starts on January 1st. People who are interested can go to their website to look through what volunteer opportunities are available and sign up for events.

It´s a great initiative! Applause to the Walt Disney Company for doing this!

Two losers

While wé're on the subject of the American charts, there's someone other than Madonna who's not doing so well this week. Mariah Carey's album, Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel, will only make it to number 2 in the Billboard Album 200 charts

Early sales reports predict that Imperfect Angel will sell in the range of 160,000 - 170,000 copies, which is far less than the 463.000 copies her last album E=MC2 sold during it's first week a couple of years ago.

Still, it's about 100.000 more than Madonna will sell!

Not a big hit

Speaking of Madonna, her new greatest hits album Celebration is expected to sell only about 75.000 copies during its first week in the United States, which means she will make it to the top 10, but not the top 5.

She must be furious!

No show

Ryan Seacrest just announced on his radio show that due to some miscommunication with an assistant in Madonna's camp, she won't be able to join the show today.

Apparently Madonna was not informed of the interview being scheduled for today and she's not able to join Ryan on the phone today due to other commitments - but she's expected to talk to him tomorrow.

Lovely movie

Anneke and I went to see The Rebound tonight, at the movie theatre. The movie was just lovely! A great love story, with a nice happy ending. Just the type of movie I love to watch!

The story gets you into it from the very start, and it doesn't let you down in the two hours that follow. I recommend this movie highly! What a great film!

Smashing show

Click here to watch Kylie Minogue perform Red Blooded Woman and Wow during the final rehearsals for her first ever North American tour, which kicks off tonight!

Steve Anderson, the tour director, wrote the following:

Show day is finally here! It seems so long ago that we first started putting this together but all of the hard work and planning is about to be realized. Also we are so lucky to have the incredible Gary Bradshaw (Take That/George Michael) mixing for us – it sounds unbelievable! Just a few final tweaks to do this afternoon and then we are all set – we pride ourselves on attention to detail in every area so concentrating on the final 5% of sprinkles and sparkles makes all the difference. Plus of course we have the best live performer in the world to inspire us all – a pure white diamond.

No doubt the show will be smashing!

It's showtime

Today Kylie Minogue's first ever North American tour starts, at Fox Oakland Theatre in the San Fransisco Bay area!

The final dress rehearsal was yesterday, and just like yesterday, Kylie was kind enough to share some backstage footage with her fans. Oh, and Jason Beitel is in it, as well!

400.000 and counting

I've reached over 400.000 pageviews today, which is another milestone for Totally Theo. Thank you all again for visiting, and please come back as much as you'd like!

The rebound

My friend Anneke and I are going to the movie theatre tonight! We're gonna watch The Rebound, starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and Justin Bartha. Expect a review later tonight!

Expensive stage

The U2 360 is so incredibly expensive, they're actually losing money on it, even though most of the shows are sold out. The giant stage, known as The Claw, costs a whopping $750,000 to construct and travel per show, which is more than ticket sales cover.

It is estimated the tour won't be making any profits until the end of the North American leg.

More fun with conservatives

In addition to my favourite conservative lunatic sites One"News"Now and WND*Mart, I found a new one! It's called Townhall, and it's even better than the other two, as it allows reader's comments on all their 'articles'. The people commenting are so incredibly stupid, it's a great laugh to read all their uninformed garbage!

Go over there once in a while, you will love it!

Looking great

Take That wore matching clothes for Mark Owen's stag party in New York City. They all look great!

Watch that video

Warner Music finally struck a deal with YouTube, meaning their artists will be back on the site, without being pulled down all the time by the record company.

This is great news, since from now on we will finally be able to watch legal video's from Warner artists! I was actually surprised it took them so long. Now that MTV barely has video's, YouTube is the perfect promotional tool for pop music. Besides, all the other record companies were on it already.

Happy watching!

The chamber

Tonight on Dutch television: the film version of my favourite John Grisham book The Chamber, starring Chris O'Donnell, Gene Hackman and Faye Dunaway.

Greetings from the States

The first Kylie Minogue videos from the United States are in:

Kylie's welcome message

Backstage during rehearsals, including Jason Beitel

More rehearsals

It all looks so exciting and fabulous, I'm SO jealous right now of the North American fans. I know I shouldn't be, cause this is their first ever Kylie Minogue tour, and we get to see her all the time here in Europe, but I'm jealous anyway!

On air

US celebrity DJ Ryan Seacrest has just announced that Madonna will be his special guest on his 'On Air with Ryan Seacrest' radio show tomorrow.

The 'American Idol' star's show is broadcast from Los Angeles on 102.7 KIIS-FM but is also played between 10am and 2pm EST on various different regional stations across the USA - e.g. Z100 in New York.

Fans can tune in online to listen live here.

Thanks to MadonnaTribe.

Follow the tour

As you can see in this picture, the Fox Oakland Theatre is ready for Kylie Minogue's North American debut, tomorrow evening!

If you want to follow Kylie during her North American tour, her official live blog is online now! There will also be exclusive behind the scenes pix and video, as well as updates from the band members, dancers, crew, and even Kylie herself who will be tweeting LIVE!

Click here to enter her blog, and don't forget to check back often during the tour!

It's showtime!

She got her name back

For the past couple of weeks, Kylie Minogue had to use the name kylietweettweet on Twitter, because her real name was already taken by someone pretending to be Kylie. However, as of today, Kylie got her official account back, so from now on her Twitter name is @kylieminogue.

If you already follow Kylie, there's no need to change anything, Twitter will change it for you automatically. If you don't follow Kylie yet, click here to do so!

Jackie's strength - live in Groningen

The final Tori Amos song I'll post today, is Jackie's Strength, one of the best performances during her Sinful Attraction concert at MartiniPlaza Groningen.

Hotel - live in Groningen

The second song of Tori Amos' Sinful Attraction concert in Groningen: Hotel.

Liquid diamonds - live in Groningen

Watch Tori Amos sing Liquid Diamonds, during her Sinful Attraction concert at MartiniPlaza Groningen.

Take to the sky - live in Groningen

Watch Tori Amos perform her great song Take To The Sky, live at MartiniPlaza Groningen.

Don't sit down

This was the funniest moment ever, during last week's Sinful Attraction concert at MartiniPlaza Groningen. Tori Amos sends the security away, and tells them 'this is my fucking show'. Security was trying to get people to sit down, which clearly wasn't what Tori wanted.

I was row three, right in the center, so this happened right before me. Priceless!

Tour costumes

Thanks to Perez Hilton, three Jean Paul Gaultier sketches for Kylie Minogue's first ever North American tour have been revealed!

They look great! Tomorrow is the first show, so after that, we'll know how the costumes look in real life!

The new poll, XOXO

15 People voted on last week's poll 'Can Pirates Of The Carribean do without Johnny Depp?'. Only 2 of you said 'yes', while the remaining 13 said 'no'.

For this week's poll, I would like to know who your favourite Gossip Girl character is. Remember, it's not about the actor playing the character, but the character within the show.

Choose between:

Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford)
Serena Van der Woodsen (Blake Lively)
Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley)
Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester)
Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick)
Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen)

Voting's on!

The new Britney

The new Britney Spears single, 3, has leaked to the internet. Click here to listen to it.

It's kind of a cool song, but please, go easy on the vocoder!

This is gonna tank

The shit really does hit the fan for Mariah Carey. Her new album, Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel, just got a shiteous review from the New York Daily News. The rate the album one star out of five, and basically call it garbage.

Click here to read the hilarious review!

Financially secure

Despite earlier reports of Pamela Anderson going bankrupt because of (among others) a huge amount of taxes due, the 'actress' has released a statement, claiming none of it is true:

These reports are crazy and I cannot believe this has become a media issue. I am actually touched at how much concern has been expressed for me over this. It is true that I am in a dispute with some of the contractors working on my home. This is because after paying millions of dollars to build the house I continue to get bills from the contractors. My lawyers are reviewing the work done to see if the bills are fair. If they are, they’ll be paid. If they aren’t, they won’t be.

I am just sorry this contractor went to the press, especially when I was working out of the country. I did not speak publicly about this before because I had no desire to embarrass anyone who worked on my home and whose work and bills are now part of arbitration. On a separate issue, mistakes may have been made in calculating taxes owed and we are now in the process of ensuring that any taxes owed are paid. Unfortunately there are tax liens. However, I’m financially secure and I want to thank everyone who expressed concern for me based on these rumors.

Do you believe her?

Double fun

For her new Inverse For Men campaign, Kylie Minogue is joined by not one, but two versions of her boyfriend Andres Velencosco, both of them looking gorgeous!

Some people have all the luck...

Raving review

And speaking of Take That, British tabloid The Sun had the chance to listen to Robbie Williams' upcoming album Reality Killed The Video Star, and they loved it!

Click here to read their review!

Take that, New York

Take That was in New York City, including Robbie Williams, not to record songs together, as suggested by some tabloids, but because of Mark Owen's stag party.

"We're having a lovely time. Robbie's over. He's with us." Mark told the press.

Here are some pictures of Mark Owen and Jason Orange in The Big Apple.

All I ever wanted tour

On February 25, Kelly Clarkson will bring her All I Ever Wanted Tour to the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam! Tickets go on sale this Friday, 10 AM CET through LiveNation.

On Dutch TV

Attention, Dutch fans: this weekend, on Saturday October 3 to be exact, Mika will perform on Mooi! Weer De Leeuw.

Make sure to watch!

The cheap look

It's not just her video's and DVDs that look cheap these days, as of now, it's also her merchandise (although you can bet on it to be insanely expensive). Madonna's official website now sells this official Celebration t-shirt, which looks like something you could pick up at your local Wal*Mart, and will wear and tear after one or two spins in the washing machine.

What did you expect?

P!nk took her Funhouse Tour to Fairfax, Virginia yesterday, and sold the arena out. However, when she started singing Dear Mr. President, she got booed by the audience. Isn't that funny? The shows in Texas, where George W. Bush is from, went just fine, and now the Virginia crowd responds this way. I mean, it's not like a P!nk fan doesn't know how she feels about the former idiot President, so they could have expected this song to show up.

P!nk used her Twitter account to say she was actually quite amused by it, so it's not such a big deal to her.

Zac Efron takes a break

Does he ever NOT look hot? Zac Efron, taking a break from filming his new movie The Life And Death Of Charlie St. Cloud, in Vancouver, Canada.

Imaginary heroes

Tonight on Dutch television: Imaginary Heroes, starring Sigourney Weaver, Emile Hirsch and Jeff Daniels.

Three

Britney Spears' upcoming single will be called 3, and here's the artwork to the single cover!

It's a totally new song, as opposed to another single from Circus, so it's something to look forward to!

What a bargain

Apparently Mariah Carey's new album Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel is tanking big time, as Amazon has now reduced prices to only $5.99. Yes, that's right, only 6 dollars for a brand new album of a used to be superstar.

Mariah's career definitely hit a new low with this ridiculous bargain shopping. Will she be fired by her record label anytime soon?

Welcome to the USA

Kylie Minogue arrived in San Francisco on Saturday afternoon ready to commence her first ever North American tour!

The first show will be this Wednesday, September 30!

The fame monster

Lady Gaga will be on next week's episode of Saturday Night Live, singing a new song from her upcoming album The Fame Monster! It will be the first time she sings one if the new songs, so it's kind of a happening!

I wonder if she'll take a completely new direction, or go on on the same foot. I wouldn't mind, either way!

Not sexy

Apparently, Michael Jackson used to say, back around 1990 when he was spending some time with Madonna, he didn't find her sexy at all. According to Michael, he didn't feel anything for Madonna.

I actually find this hard to believe, Madonna may look like a living corpse nowadays, but back then she was pretty hot.

Tickets for Mika

The brilliantly talented Mika, one of my favourite singers, has announced his 2010 European tour dates! Same old

Every month or so, new rumours are floating in regarding Robbie Williams rejoining Take That. Tabloids could fill entire editions just by collecting all the stories they have printed about this alledged reunion these past couple of years, but so far, it didn't happen.

Today the rumour mill was up and running again, as British tabloid Daily Mail claimed Robbie was in the studio with Take That in New York, to record some new songs.

Sure... Robbie is just about to do a comeback with his own new album Reality Killed The Video Star, and Take That were in the studio to remix their live album The Greatest Day, but of course that translates into 'they're getting back together'.

It must be so easy to be a tabloid 'journalist'. All you have to do is repeat the same story over and over again, so that people will start to believe it.

Friends - the movie

It's finally happening: there will be a movie version of the most succesful sitcom of the past decade: Friends!

Apparently, all the major actors, (Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer) said yes (probably for some major $$$) so the project finally got the go ahead.

No doubt this is going to be a great movie!

Turn up the bass

Also, thanks to Radio 3FM, I won tickets for Turn Up The Bass as well! Turn Up The Bass was a succesful dance album line back in the nineties. As a great form of nostalgia, there will be a dance party at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam, and my friend Sandra and I are attending!

It's gonna be great!

Skunk anansie

Thanks to Radio 3FM, I won tickets today to see the reformed band Skunk Anansie! I'm going to see the concert on November 8 at Paradiso Amsterdam. Coolness!

At world's end

Tonight on Dutch television, the third (and, so far, final) part of the wonderful Pirates Of The Carribean franchise: At World's End, starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley.

Can't read his poker face

Click here to hear Mika sing Lady Gaga's song Poker Face on UK Radio 1. It's a really cool version!

Have fun

One"News"Now is always going on about how people should never, ever, indoctrinate minors. Of course, that very important rule only goes for people other than Christian, Right, as this article implies.

Go and have fun, read it! The hypocrisy of Christians, as usual, is outstanding!

Premonition

Tonight on Dutch television: Premonition, starring Sandra Bullock, Julian McMahon and Shyann McClure.

I heart Gossip Girl

This morning I watched 7 episodes of my new Gossip Girl Season 1 DVD box, and loved every second of it! I became a fan not until Season 2, so most of the Season 1 episodes I haven't seen when they were on TV.

What a great show! I hope it will go on for many years to come!

Halo

Although I usually can't stand Beyonce, I have to admit I absolutely adore her song Halo:

Remember those walls I built
Well baby they are tumbling down
And they didn’t even put up a fight
They didn't even make a sound
I've found a way to let you in
But I never really had a doubt
Standing in the light of your halo
I've got my angel now

It's like I've been awakened,
Every rule I had you're breaking
It's the risk that I'm taking,
I ain't never gonna shut you out!

Everywhere I'm looking now,
I'm surrounded by your embrace
Baby I can see your halo,
You know you're my saving grace
You're everything I need and more,
It's written all over your face
Baby I can feel your halo,
Pray it won't fade away

I can feel your halo (halo) halo
I can see your halo (halo) halo
I can feel your halo (halo) halo
I can see your halo (halo) halo

Hit me like a ray of sun,
Burning through my darkest night
You're the only one that I want,
Think I'm addicted to your light
I swore I'd never fall again,
But this don't even feel like falling
Gravity can't forget,
To pull me back to the ground again

It's like I've been awakened,
Every rule I had you're breaking
It's the risk that I'm taking,
I'm never gonna shut you out

Everywhere I'm looking now,
I'm surrounded by your embrace
Baby I can feel your halo,
You know you're my saving grace

I can feel your halo (halo) halo
I can see your halo (halo) halo
I can feel your halo (halo) halo
I can see your halo (halo) halo
