Recently I wrote about 13 year old Dutch girl Laura Dekker, who wants to sail the world on her own, and has gotten quite some publicity in the Dutch press because of it.
Well, now I can report the Dutch media aren't they only ones interested in Laura's dtory. No less than The Oprah Winfrey Show has send Laura Dekker an invitation, to be interviewed by the Big O herself!
No matter how stupid I think the idea of letting a 13 year old sail around the world is, she did manage to get her 15 minutes of fame! Exploit it, girl!

Maybe not. The latest is that Mom says she shouldn't go.
Apparently she kept quiet for a time because the girl threatened not to visit the divorced woman if she did not consent. Doesn't that sound like a teenager?
