This has never happened before, and will probably never happen again, but I actually agree with one of Joseph Farah's writings on WND*Mart. I´m almost ashamed to admit it, as I usually regard this man a complete and utter lunatic, but the column he wrote this weekend actually makes sense.
The column is about an internet blogger, named Hal Turner, who spend years and years of promoting violence to politicians and other public figures. For some reason, he was never arrested for his actions, and now we know why: he's actually employed by the FBI. Last month, in a trial over charges brought against Turner by local officials in New Jersey and Connecticut, it was revealed that Turner had been trained by the FBI on how to deliberately provoke violent actions by others. He was an "agent provocateur" for the FBI from 2002 through 2007 and was taught by the agency "what he could say that wouldn't be crossing the line," according to testimony in the trial.
How weird is that? The FBI is actually training people to stir up hatred in other people? Isn't this asking for trouble? Weird, and dangerous even, if you ask me.
Click here to read Joseph Farah's column. Remember, this is a memorable moment, he and I will probably never agree on anything again. Tomorrow he will probably go on rambling about the Obama birth certificate bullshit, but it's nice to see for once we agree.
