Today is the day of the annual MTV Video Music Awards, the most anticipated musical event of the year. The award show will take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, and will be hosted by Russel Brand.
Performances are by Janet Jackson, Lady Gaga, Green Day, Muse, P!nk, Jay-Z, Taylor Swift and Beyonce. Awards will be handed out by Chace Crawford, Katy Perry, Shakira, Megan Fox, Nelly Furtado, 50 Cent, and many, many more.
It has been rumoured Madonna will make a surprise appearance, although she will probably not perform (although it would be great if she sang a few lines of Celebration).
It's going to be a star studded show! The VMA's are an event to be looking forward to!
