Former Sporty Spice Melanie C., is trying for a new career. Instead of singing, she is now going to act in a West End play, called Blood Brothers. The play has been around for quite a while now, but starting October 26, Melanie will play the part of Mrs. Johnstone.
What is it with singers they always want to have an acting career on the side? It didn't work for Madonna, it didn't work for Mariah Carey, it didn't work for Whitney Houston (aside from The Bodyguard, she didn't have any real hit movies). Why do they keep trying?
Hopefully for Melanie, she will be an exception!
