They fight back

Earlier this week I wrote about how Paris Hilton was getting sued for breach of contract regarding some promotional appearances in Germany. Paris released a statement, claiming she was innocent.

Now, the company that hired her, Eurofashion Management, is fighting back, with a statement of their own:

"Yesterday Ms. Paris Hilton, her agents and companies spread a press release stating that Mr. Pietro Tavallini and Simone Oliboni of the Italian company Eurofashion Management S.r.l. “misrepresented” to Ms. Hilton the circumstances related to her visit to Frankfurt on September 11, 2009 and, therefore, “breached the contract” in force with Ms. Hilton by trying to make her show up in a “strip club” in Frankfurt. Mr. Tavallini and Mr. Oliboni have already entrusted their lawyers with directly handling the matter and claiming all damages resulting from such false and pretentious statements. In fact, the name of the club did appear and was expressly provided in the contract between the Italian promoters and Ms. Hilton, who not only had clearly undertaken to appear in such a club, but also had all the time to verify, through its American management, the kind of location and its consistency with her personal tastes. The promoters’ lawyers are about to claim from Ms. Hilton and her companies all the damages caused to their clients by her unjustified behavior: by refusing to show up in the club, Ms. Hilton made the two promoters, which are quite well-known in the Italian and the international market, ill at ease in front of their clients and the public, a situation that clearly requires prompt and full legal action against all the persons liable."

This is gonna be fun!
