As much as I love the Netherlands' biggest themepark De Efteling, I'm glad I didn't go there yesterday... Sunday morning there was an 8 kilometer traffic jam on the road to De Efteling, so you can only imagine how incredibly crowed the park itself must have been. I suppose the most popular attractions (like the Python, pictured above) had lines of over two hours long.
My mother and I went earlier this Summer. It was moderately crowded, but the park is so big you hardly notice it. The lines were not that long and the weather was great. I reckon we had a much more enjoyable day than the folks who went yesterday had.

I'm going next wednesday. Hopefully the traffic jams have cleared by then.
