You know how I've been giving reasons why I want to go to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA? Well, I figured it would be kinda cool to just pick one of the rides now and again, show a nice picture of it, and just relish in the fact that one day I will be riding this attraction!
Today, it's time for the Jungle Cruise. This attraction (pictured above) is a boat ride through the Adventureland part of Disneyland, which takes you through the jungle, where artificial animals, such as elephants, crocodiles and monkeys are you companions.
The Jungle Cruise has been a Disneyland favourite for many years, so it was cloned for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, and Tokyo Disneyland. In Disneyland Paris, because of the weather, it wouldn't look like a realistic jungle, so the ride was skipped.
A couple of years ago, when Indiana Jones And The Temple Of The Crystal Skull (a high tech rollercoaster, on the southern edge of Adventureland) was built, the Jungle Cruise was altered somewhat, but judging by YouTube video's of the ride, it's still fantastic!
I'm thinking of doing 2, instead of 1, days at Disneyland, when I get to California somewhere in the next 5 years!
