Blake Lively, who plays Serena Van der Woodsen in my favourite TV show Gossip Girl, takes a huge departure from the character we all know, in her new movie The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.
Blake plays a girl who runs away from home to live with her aunt in New York. A friend of her aunt is into S&M, and Blake is more than happy to play the 'victim'.
Does The CW approve of this? Gossip Girl is kind of wild itself, but this is definitely a step up.
