It's nicknamed Sin City because really, anything goes in Las Vegas. The city of neon lights draws an insane amount of tourists each year, so here are the three highlights of the day:
1) The Luxor Las Vegas is a hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip. Ground was broken for the Luxor in 1991, that same year construction began on the Treasure Island. It has a new highly modernized and contemporary design and contains a total of 4,407 rooms lining the interior walls of a pyramid style tower and contained within twin ziggurat towers that were built as later additions. The hotel is named after the city of Luxor in Egypt.
2) Stratosphere Las Vegas is a tower, hotel, and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip. The property's signature attraction is the 350 m Stratosphere Tower, the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States[1] and the second tallest in the Western Hemisphere, surpassed only by the CN Tower in Toronto, Ontario. The top of the tower has two observation decks, a restaurant known as "Top of the World" (revolving restaurant), and three thrill rides.
3) Caesars Palace is a luxury hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip. Caesars has opened the Roman Plaza, an open-air area with a cafe on the corner, and the Colosseum, where Céline Dion (A New Day...) and Elton John (The Red Piano) were regular performers. The Colosseum was specifically built for Dion's show, A New Day..., a spectacular produced by former Cirque du Soleil director Franco Dragone. Dion's show was also notable for having some of the highest ticket prices for any show in the city, with seats as high as $220 each; nonetheless, the show regularly sold out.
