Whitney Houston's concert promoter Andrew McManus is trying to get some support for Whitney after her disastrous performance at Brisbane Entertainment Centre:
"As for some of the negative 'vocal minority' … all I can say is, what happened to the Australian positive support of someone who has seen difficult times, and is now up on stage, warts and all, presenting herself like an open book for the world to see. And they want to ridicule Whitney?"
Well, I think when paying $ 100 for a ticket, the audience deserves something better than the horrendous show Whitney was putting on. After all, when you buy damaged goods in a store, your entitled to get your money back as well.

Well, have you seen any of the clips? I saw a great portion of them and in many of the songs she was fine except one song. She was coherent and took one break which is normal for a wardrobe change.
Personally, I think the aussies are racists. Fleetwood mac toured there and missed tons of notes and not a whisper. Britney lipsynced her way through and she got bad coverage but no where as much as this.
Haters all around, Whitney unfortunately is thenext MJ and when she is gone, you among others will be exholling her.
Britney Spears got SHITLOADS of bad press in Australia (and rightly so).
This has absolutely nothing to do with race, the fact you're even bringing it up is sorta pathetic. Britney Spears is white, perhaps you should check back the kind of press coverage she got from Australian newspapers (and my site, for that matter) during her disastrous Circus Tour.
If a customer (which is effectively what fans are) is paying AUS $ 100 for a ticket, a decent show is to be expected. This particular performance was just horrendous, and so rightly people were complaining.
I have to support Theo here. I can't remember a post about Whitney in which he was negative about her. But the fact is that Whitney's voice has become a horrible voice to listen to. There are many clips from her 2010 tour on Youtube and they all sound horrible. Her time has passed. So had MJ's. The only thing that made MJ as popular as he is right now is the fact that he died. otherwise no one would have really cared about MJ anymore anymore. I mean when was his latest hit single before he died? Oh yes, that was back in 1997!!!
