This is great news: judging by the pre-orders, the new Haiti benefit single Everybody Hurts is promising to be one of the biggest selling singles in the UK ever. It's released this Sunday, and counting up the pre-orders through outlet such as Amazon, Play and HMV, there are already 1 million copies ordered. It's only Thursday, so there could be a lot more this Sunday.
One thing's for sure, the song, which features Kylie Minogue, Take That, Mariah Carey, Mika and Robbie Williams among others, is a sure bet to go straight to number 1 on the UK Top 40 next week.
