Rihanna's latest album, Rated R, is much more of the RNB genre than her previous records. Personally, I like the album very much, but Rihanna did get a lot of bad press for ditching her pop style for this album. Luckily for those people who like her more with songs such as Disturbia and Please Don't Stop The Music, she has now proclaimed the next album will be more of a mix between RNB and pop songs.
“Rated R — I love the sound of it, in terms of the bass,” Rihanna explained to MTV Korea. “I really like the bottom, the grime of it. But if I were to combine that with more energetic, uptempo pop records, then I think that will be a happy marriage. And that’s where we’ll probably go next.”
