According to sources in the financial world, record company EMI might be sold to the competition, namely Warner Music. That would mean artists such as Lily Allen, Janet Jackson, Robbie Williams, and most importantly, Kylie Minogue, would become contracted by Warner.
This is what happens when the world is illegially downloading music. More and more record labels are being sold or going bankrupt.
