Twilight heart-throb Robert Pattinson has revealed he perfected his US accent for the movie series by copying his favourite rap stars.
Robert admitted: "I used to want to be a rapper when I was 14.
"I have a lot of recordings. I used to do an American accent."
The actor, who plays vampire Edward Cullen, was speaking during an appearance on Oprah Winfrey's chat show with fellow Twilight stars Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning.
He joked: "Kristen thinks I do the most terrible accent."
