Taylor Swift’s newest album Speak Now sold more than a MILLION copies its first week. No album has sold a million albums in a first week since Lil’ Wayne’s Tha Carter III in 2008.

According to Hits Daily Double, Taylor is also set to break the mark for percentage of total sales in a single week, with 17-18%. That means almost 1 out of every 5 CDs or download sales this week will be Speak Now.
