Closed land

After more than 20 years of operation (first called Mickey's Birthdayland, then Mickey's Starland and then finally the name it continued to have until this weekend), Mickey's Toontown Fair at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida closed this weekend. This is the first time a Walt Disney park closed not just an attraction, but an entire 'land'.

Toontown Fair will be demolished to make room for the massive Fantasyland expansion.
