10x Kylie Minogue

You know I've never done a Kylie Minogue album top ten, how weird is that? My favorite artist in the whole world, and I just forgot. Fortunately, it's never too late to make up for ones mistakes, so here we go!

1) Aphrodite
2) Light Years
3) Fever
4) X
5) Body Language
6) Impossible Princess
7) Enjoy Yourself
8) Rhythm Of Love
9) Let's Get To It
10) Kylie

What are yours?

On a business level

Beyonce will no longer be managed by her father, Mathew Knowles, her publicist said Monday. Beyonce and her father have parted ways "on a business level," publicist Yvette Noel-Schure told The Associated Press in a statement.

"I am grateful for everything he has taught me," Beyonce said in the statement. "I grew up watching both he and my mother manage and own their own businesses. They were hardworking entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps."

One ocean

Tilikum, the killer whale involved in the death of a SeaWorld Orlando trainer last year, returned to the theme park's show schedule Wednesday morning. It was the first public performance by the 6-ton Tilikum since the Feb. 24, 2010, death of trainer Dawn Brancheau during a "Dining With Shamu" experience.

Tilikum was not mentioned by name during the SeaWorld show "Believe," which was seen by a near-capacity stadium at the 11:30 a.m. show. Traditionally, the whales are not identified and perform under the stage name of "Shamu," a symbol of the theme park. Trainers have not been allowed in the water with any of SeaWorld's whales since Brancheau's death.

SeaWorld says it has made changes to improve trainer safety, including guardrails around pool ledges and quicker ways to deploy safety nets. The theme park plans to install fast-rising floors that can rapidly lift trainers and whales out of the water. A new killer-whale show called "One Ocean" is being prepared and is set to debut in late April, SeaWorld said. It has not decided whether trainers will begin performing with whales in shows, park officials say.

I'd say killer whales shouldn't be playing shows in marine parks in the first place.

Amazing career

British singing sensation Adele has hit another bench mark in her already amazing career as her second album 21 spends her ninth week at the top of the UK album chart equaling the record held by Madonna for longest album at number one in the chart by a female solo artist. Madonna set the record back in 1990 with her greatest hits album, The Immaculate Collection. However, since Adele's record isn't a greatest hits album, this is even more of a big deal!

Congratulations! She really deserves it, her music is awesome!

2 Million sales mark

Lady Gaga’s smash single “Born This Way” this week tops the two-million sales mark in the United States, becoming Gaga’s eighth consecutive 2-million-seller. To date, the track has sold 1,978,000 digital copies and 37,000 CD singles.

On the Billboard Hot 100, “Born This Way” moves down to no. 4 after topping the chart for six weeks in a row. The song has spent its entire chart life inside the top 5.

Gaga column

V Magazine announced today that starting with their next issue, Lady Gaga will have her own column in which she will share her thoughts on fashion and give an exclusive look into her universe. Every issue will feature a contest in which Gaga’s fans will be asked to illustrate her for the column. Head over to for details on how to submit your work!

Circus - 'live' in Antwerp

And finally (for today) The Circus Starring Britney Spears 'live' at Sportpaleis Antwerpen. The opening of the show: Circus.

Do somethin'- 'live' in London

Also from the O2 Arena in London, here's Britney Spears 'singing Do Somethin', during The Circus Starring Britney Spears Tour.

Boys - 'live' in London

According to her fans, this is totally live, but I'll be the judge of that... Britney Spears 'singing' Boys at the O2 Arena in London, during The Circus Starring Britney Spears Tour.

Mannequin - 'live' in Paris

As promised yesterday, for your entertainment (but probably not the way she meant it), some more videos from The Circus Starring Britney Spears Tour, also known as The Lipsync Fest. To start with: Mannequin, 'live' at POP Bercy in Paris.

On the wall

It took me a while to post it here, but here it is: my beautiful brand new Aphrodite Les Folies poster, my mother gave to me as a present after Kylie's show at Sportpaleis Antwerpen. I love it, and it looks great on my wall!

The fans are fantastic

One of the most successful boy bands ever, Westlife have been around for years. With a cool 44million album sales and in the middle of their 11th tour across the UK and Ireland, the boys – Nicky Byrne, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan and Shane Filan – know who they’re trying to please, and it certainly ain’t their critics.
“The fans are fantastic,” grins Shane, 31. “The banter we have with them from the stage is one of the best things about touring. Most have grown up with us, so you’d expect them to calm down as they get older. But the older they get, the madder they are.”

And it seems the fans don’t care too much about the boys’ wholesome image. “Some of the banners we can see from the stage are hilarious,” laughs Nicky, 32. “You name it, they write it, and when you think it could be some woman in her 50s holding it up, it’s so funny. We even had the very subtle ‘Ride me Shane!’. They’re hilarious. I picked the girl out of the crowd and said to her ‘You don’t fuck about do you sweetheart?’ Brilliant.”

I'm into you

Check out a preview of Jennifer Lopez’s fresh new single, “I’m Into You” featuring Lil’ Wayne. The song, which was written by Taio Cruz and produced by Stargate, is off of Jennifer’s upcoming album, Love?, due out May 3.

Family life

The Kardashian family cover Redbook magazine’s first ever family issue, on newsstands April 12. Here’s what the ladies had to share:

Khloe, on why people are fascinated with the Kardashians:
“We are a real family. We don’t sugarcoat anything. We’re not the Brady Bunch, but we always put each other first. We love each other on camera, we cry on camera. I think people relate to the realness of it.”

Kim, on living life in front of the whole world:
“There’s nothing I’m really ashamed of, and I work hard on the show and all my other projects. I don’t drink or do drugs, so I’m comfortable showing the world what my life is all about.”

Kris, on the biggest misconceptions about the Kardashians:
“It’s annoying when I hear, ‘What do your girls do?’ Well, first of all, all of my daughters have jobs. They are fashion stylists and designers; they own a chain of stores. They had the stores before they had the show. And my kids worked from the time they were 13 years old. So to me, that’s a huge misconception — that the girls don’t work. They work 25 hours a day. And that they don’t have any talent? They might not be singers or dancers, but they certainly know how to produce a television show. Whether you want to call it talent or not, they have multiple shows on the air. I want to say, How many shows do you have?”

Kris, on family values:
“Our joy in life is that we always have each other. So I’ve tried to teach my kids three things: love God, love your family, and love yourself.”

Not touring

And if the insane ticket prices weren't enough, it was also announced today Enrique Iglesias will in fact not be co-headlining the Femme Fatale Tour. No explanation has been given, but rumour has it Enrique's management didn't agree with the enormous amount of money Britney's camp was going to make on this tour, instead of splitting the earnings even.

Too bad, although I'm not a big fan of Enrique anymore, at least he sings live. It would be nice for the audiences to at least get some live vocals on stage.

Outrageous prices

The first Britney Spears Femme Fatale Tour shows have showed up on the American LiveNation and TicketMaster sites, and it appears the prices for this lipsync fest are absolutely insane. Prices for the nosebleeds seats at Nassau Colisseum on Long Island (New York) start at $96,00 + $20,05 service charge, meaning the total price of the cheapest tickets will be $116,05. If you thought that was a lot, wait until you hear what the most expensive tickets cost (remember, these are the face value prices of the tickets, so no VIP packaging or whatever). Okay, are you holding on to something? The most expensive seats cost a whopping $346,50 + $26,25 service charge, leading up to a total of $372,75.

Has she (and LiveNation) gone absolutely insane? After all the bad reviews of The Circus Starring Britney Spears Tour and, more recently, her Good Morning America 'performance', how on earth are they planning to sell out arena's with this outrageous prices?

Death bed

Lily Allen revealed last night that she nearly died after the death of her premature son last year. Lily was stricken with a viral infection when she lost her baby boy six months into her pregnancy last November. For the first time she told how she was later close to death herself - though in her overwhelming grief she barely realised she was ill.

She said on her Channel 4 show Lily Allen: From Riches To Rags: "It was really quite touch and go for a few days. My friends reacted so much more to me being ill compared to what I felt was the most devastating part of it, I couldn't have cared less about myself. I literally was on my death bed but I didn't even feel it."

Special skit

Britney Spears is catapulted into the sky while sat on a chemical toilet - for a wild TV stunt. Britney teamed up with Jackass star Johnny Knoxville for a special skit on American show Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Dressed simply in a white vest and jeans, Britney wisely donned goggles for the spectacle which she introduced as "the poo cocktail supreme". She is seen entering the portaloo, which is connected to two cranes by taught bungee ropes.

Check out this new picture of Katy Perry from her upcoming video for E.T. which will be released soon. E.T. is one of my favorite songs from her Teenage Album, too bad the Kanye West addition to the single version ruined the song.

Big weekend

Lady Gaga has been announced as the headliner for this year’s BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend! The event will take place in Carlisle, UK on May 15th with all the tickets being given away free.

”I’m so excited to be coming to Radio 1′s Big Weekend,” said Gaga. “I’ve been planning and rehearsing for so many months now and after two years of working on my new album I’ll get to do a great big performance in the UK. I’m mostly excited for the Big Weekend because I can’t wait to see all of the monsters in the UK. Expect a monster avant-garde pop fantasia. This event is so important to me because Radio 1 was one of the first stations to really support my artistry and my music and I get to come back and enjoy this moment with all of you. Thank you so much for all of your love and support and for always believing in me as an artist. I can’t wait to see you. Paws up!”

Transmission Gagavision

Lady Gaga is bringing Transmission Gagavision back! The show, which Gaga started filming back in 2008 to promote her debut album, returns with new episodes starting next week. For those who haven’t seen it before, watch the first episodes on Gaga’s YouTube channel.

Panic room

Tonight on Dutch television: Panic Room, starring Jodie Foster, Kristen Stewart and Dwight Yoakam.

Aphrodite wallpaper

Check out this wonderful Aphrodite Les Folies wallpaper I found. It's on my laptop screen starting today!

Fifth baby

Kevin Federline may have his fifth child on the way. The 33-year-old former backup dancer and ex-husband of Britney Spears is reportedly expecting his first child with his girlfriend of two years, former pro volleyball player Victoria Prince. People Magazine reports that the baby is due this summer.

This is the first child for Victoria and the fifth for Kevin, who has two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, with Britney. Kevin also has a son, Kaleb, and daughter, Kori, with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson.

Once trailer trash, always trailer trash.

Toxic - 'live' in Toronto

One more? Okay, one more! Britney Spears, doing a really lousy job trying to pretend to sing Toxic, during The Circus Starring Britney Spears at Air Canada Centre in Toronto.

It's been a good laugh! I might post some more videos tomorrow!

Womanizer - 'live' in Toronto

It's actually kinda funny, are Britney fans really THAT stupid to spend so much money on a show that contains no live vocals whatsoever? From the Air Canada Centre, here's The Circus Starring Britney Spears - Womanizer.

(have you noticed, by the way, she doesn't even get the lipsyncing right? why the hell is this woman still in showbizz? it's just pathetic, and therefor, extremely amusing to watch this trainwreck)

Piece of me - 'live' in New Jersey

Check out Britney Spears 'singing' Piece Of Me during The Circus Starring Britney Spears at Izod Center in New Jersey.

Notice how she is not moving AT ALL! There is absolutely no reason for her to lipsync, unless of course she doesn't even sing her own songs in the studio... It's a autotune, vocoder and lipsync party!!!

Radar - 'live' in New Jersey

Now that the Femme Fatale Tour has been announced, before any of you are unfortunate enough to buy tickets to the 'concert', have a look at a typical performance from The Circus Starring Britney Spears (at Izod Center in New Jersey), her last tour, and note that fact that not only does Britney not dance (or barely move, for that matter), but even worse, the singing is not just lipsyncing, it's even autotuned, so it doesn't even sound live.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is what a Britney 'concert' is all about. Still looking to buy tickets? In that case you deserve to get ripped off. Seriously, this is just insane. Why doesn't she fucking sing live?!?!

Cohesive unit

Take That have dropped their biggest hint yet that Robbie Williams will stick with the band, even after the Progress Live 2011 Tour. The four other band members (Gary Barlow, Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Mark Owen) have revealed they are writing more songs together for future albums.

Gary said: "We really want that and this is our dream come true. At the beginning we all said it was going to last for one album, but we're starting to write again, so we don't know now."

Robbie is still planning to release solo material alongside his band commitments once the record-breaking Progress tour is completed.

In an interview in the US, Mark said: "We are a team - at the moment Take That is five people, but it feels more than that. There's a lot of people who have a relationship with us. At the beginning there was a fragility to the whole thing, but that has gone now.

Robbie said: "We are a cohesive unit. Hopefully there'll be another album with the five of us, but we don't know if it'll be the next one."

Cute couple

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise make a cute couple at the premiere of Katie's The Kennedys TV show. Spirits ran high throughout the cast, who were understandably in a celebratory mood after their show was saved from oblivion when History Channel backed out of buying it. A host of other networks also declined to screen the series until little-known station ReelzChannel signed on the dotted line and picked up the US rights.

Hurrah for equality

A California bill mandating that public school textbooks be re-written to include gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) lifestyles passed the Senate Committee on Education Wednesday.

Senate Bill 48, proposed by senator Mark Leno of San Francisco, passed the committee in a 6-3-1 vote. The bill would require that teachers and textbooks present alternate lifestyles in a positive light, with instruction in subjects such as history, psychology, political science, and communication in public school classrooms. The ten-member committee, comprised mainly of Democrats, unanimously favored the bill, backed by Equality California and the Gay Straight Alliance Network.

Hurrah for equality!

Rolling in the deep - live at the Echo Awards

Adele performed a fantastic version of Rolling In The Deep at the Echo Awards this weekend.

Grenade - live at the Echo Awards

Bruno Mars performed his hit single Grenade, live at the Echo Awards in Germany last weekend. Great performance! I'm really looking forward to seeing his Hooligans In Wondaland Tour at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam in July!

Kidz - live at the Echo Awards

Take That performed their latest single Kidz at the German Echo Awards this weekend! Cool performance, similiar to what they did at the BRIT Awards earlier this year.

Can't wait for the Progress Live 2011 Tour!!!

Juno Awards

The Juno Awards 2011, sort of like the Canadian version of the Grammy Awards, were presented yesterday. The list of winners is too long to post them all here, but if you're interested, you can check them all out by clicking here.

Unfair dismissal

Eight charity workers in Malawi are suing Madonna after the collapse of her $15m (£9.4m) academy for girls cost them their jobs. The employees' lawyer said they are taking the US singer to court for unfair dismissal and non-payment of benefits. The board of Raising Malawi was ousted after failing to start the building of an elite girls' school amid allegations of financial mismanagement, including lavish spending on offices, cars and golf membership.

Madonna, who adopted a boy and a girl from the southern African country, loaned $11m (£6.9m) to the charity and now sits on the board. The charity workers' lawyer, Mzondi Chirambo, said the singer had 14 days to respond to their concerns.

"Their employment was terminated by the trustees of Raising Malawi Academy for Girls ostensibly following the change of plan not to build the school as planned," he told Reuters news agency. "My clients are also being forced to sign a discriminatory termination agreement before they are paid their benefits."

What a true bitch she is!

Creative talent

Kylie Minogue was photographed backstage with Carlos Fleischmann, the manager of Creative Talent, the company that promoted the German Aphrodite Les Folies shows.

A lovely photo, as always!

More remixes

Part two of the “Born This Way” remixes is now available on iTunes worldwide! Click here to download brand new mixes from Bimbo Jones, Michael Woods, Zedd, Twin Shadow, Grum and Dada Life.

On stranger tides

Disney debuted a special 3D sneak peek at its latest Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides film to big spring break crowds at Disneyland over the weekend. The special preview will run through May, and fans of Jack Sparrow won't want to miss it. Also, like the first three Pirates movies, On Stranger Tides will have its world premiere on a huge screen over the Rivers Of America in the Frontierland part of Disneyland.

Deathly hallows

A new poster for the final Harry Potter film has been released and it’s pretty intense! On the poster, mortal enemies Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and Voldemort (Ralph Finnes) look like they’re ready to go face-to-face in the ultimate show down.

It will be hard for the fans this will be the definitive final part of the franchise...

Black swan

Today, Black Swan will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray! Additional footage and behind-the-scenes looks are included as bonus features. I've seen it at the cinema a couple of weeks ago, and was really impressed by it. I may very well buy the DVD as well!

Project five

Jennifer Aniston is set to direct a short film about breast cancer for Lifetime’s Project Five, a five part anthology series.

“Our hope with Project Five is to entertain, inform and inspire dialogue, research and prevention. Otherwise, our goals are small,” Jennifer told Us Weekly. “We want these films to move people and empower those affected by breast cancer to stand tall through this challenge, which impacts all of our lives, no matter who we are.”

RIP Farley Granger

Farley Granger, who starred in the Alfred Hitchcock classic film 'Strangers on a Train,' died Monday, according to E! Online. He was 85.

Though his role in 1951's 'Strangers on a Train' is by far his most memorable, Granger was no stranger to other parts. He made his debut in Hitchcock's 'Rope' in 1948, Nicholas Ray's 'They Ride by Night' in 1949 and Luchino Visconti's Italian drama 'Senso' in 1954. He also starred in 1955's 'The Naked Street' and 'The Girl on the Red Velvet Swing' in 1955 but then focused more on theater and television roles.

Rest in peace.

Happy family

Alanis Morissette, husband Mario and baby Ever Imre were spotted strolling in Santa Monica, California, looking every bit a very happy family. I'm glad for her!

Cardiff loves Kylie

Kylie Minogue released another one of her tour diary videos, this time from the first two UK shows at the Cardiff Motorpoint Arena, last weekend. Check it out above!

Season 3

Since I finished watching season 1 tonight, and usually takes a while to deliver orders, I ordered myself Beverly Hills 90210 season 3 yesterday, and got a dispatch confirmation today. Of course, season 2 comes first, but it's nice to know the next one is on its way!

Birthday show

Of course Lady Gaga wouldn't be Lady Gaga is she celebrated her 25th birthday just with a private party, so of course she also scheduled a Monster Ball show on her birthday, to celebrate it with 25.000 Little Monsters at Staples Center in Los Angeles. During the show, the fans sang birthday songs for her, and she was presented with a huge cake on stage.

Sol de Mexico

Lady Gaga celebrated her 25th birthday over the weekend in Los Angeles. During the party, Gaga sang a Mariachi version of “Born This Way” with Jose Hernandez of Sol de Mexico.

Birthday call

Lady Gaga got a special birthday call from Ellen Degeneres, who sang Happy Birthday to her during her show on Monday. “I’m so happy, excited and grateful,” Gaga said. “I’m whipping everybody. We’re finishing this album, so they’re all sort of looking at me like, get back to work!”

#1 pop song

Lady Gaga’s hit single “Born This Way” this week rises to the top of Billboard’s Pop Songs, becoming Gaga’s seventh number one on the pop airplay chart. The singer ties with P!nk and Rihanna for most no. 1s in the chart’s 18-year history.

Queen of pain

Rihanna is on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine’s latest issue, on sale Friday. The cover caption reads, “Pop’s Queen of Pain on Sexting, Bad Boys & Her Attraction to the Dark Side”. Expect to hear more from the magazine on Wednesday when the interview is released.

Ripped off

These shark attacks keep on coming...

A shark attack at Udu in Vanua Levu, Fiji forced doctors to remove the victim’s left forearm, after most of it was bitten off during the attack on Monday. Metereti Jeke, 30, was swimming at a popular reef catching fish for his family when the shark attacked. His left forearm had been ripped and flesh was dangling from the bone.

Missing in action

A female crew member of the Disney "Wonder" cruise ship that left the port of Los Angeles on a seven-day trip to Mexico is missing, officials said. Investigators said the woman failed to show up for her on-board shift Tuesday and she hasn't been heard from since, KNBC-TV, Los Angeles, said Friday.

The ship left Los Angeles Sunday and officials said they don't know if she fell overboard or is still on the ship, which holds 2,700 passengers and a crew of 950. The ship had yet to make its first scheduled stop in Mexico when her absence was noted.

Disney said the Mexican navy has conducted searches since Tuesday and the company has notified the FBI and the Bahamian Maritime Authority about the woman's disappearance.

Miles away

The Live version of Madonna's "Miles Away" is included on the "Songs For Japan" album to be released on iTunes today. Taken from her 2008 "Sticky & Sweet Tour", "Miles Away" is featured along with songs by REM, U2, Sting, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Beyonce and many more...

All of the monies earned from "Songs for Japan" will be directed to the Japanese Red Cross Society to support its disaster relief efforts. The society will use the funds for the ongoing provision of immediate relief and for eventual recovery support to the affected population. The artists participating on Songs for Japan, the major music labels - EMI Music, Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group - and music publishers have waived their royalties and proceeds from the worldwide sales of the album to ensure that the JRCS receives as much support as possible from this global initiative. In addition, iTunes will donate all proceeds from the album's worldwide sales to the benefit of the JRCS.

Bigger pad

Mark Owen has sold his home for £1.5million - and is looking for a bigger pad. The Take That star is said to want a fresh start for his family after admitting to a string of affairs and a battle with alcoholism last year. Dad-of-two Mark, 39, paid £1.2million for the four-bed pad in Wandsworth, South West London, in 2006. According to Land Registry documents, it sold in February below the £1.6million guide price.

A Virginia man was arrested and charged with murder after stoning another man he claims displayed unwanted sexual interest. John Thomas of Lansdowne, Virginia, was taken into custody after confessing to the murder of 70-year-old Murray Seidman, a developmentally challenged hospital worker.

According to officials, Thomas, after initially attempting to feign innocence, told police that he stoned Seidman because the man had made repeated homosexual advances toward him. Thomas used the Bible as his justification for killing the man by hitting him in the head with stones, which were stuffed in a sock. Seidman's body was found days after the incident, and officials believe that the man died in his apartment in early January.

Only in America. I suppose Bryan Fischer would be pleased...
