Breaking dawn

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are on the cover of this week's issue of Entertainment Weekly, to promote the upcoming fourth Twilight film Breaking Dawn. Here are some quotes from the interview:

Kristen, on wishing the film could be more graphic:
“In some ways it was disappointing not to be able to really go there. We imagined it every single day. It’s funny because when [the PG-13 issue] comes up, everybody thinks it’s all about the sex. The birth is really effective, and I’ve heard it really hits you in the face. But what it could have been? It could have been shocking and grotesque, because that’s how it was written in the book. I would have loved to have been puking up blood.”

Rob, on what scenes he loved to shoot:
“I like the honeymoon scenes because it’s such a massive turnaround in Edward and Bella’s relationship.”

Kristen, on shooting Bella and Edward’s wedding day:
“I never would have thought I’d be affected in this way, but it was one of the coolest things that I’ve done. There was a certain point when I walked on set, and I saw everyone from the entire cast sitting there in the pews, about to do their bit. And it was just so perfect for me in that moment. It was so emotional in such a real way. I literally felt like thanking them for coming.”

The man’s name and condition weren’t immediately available.

Everything is circular

Ex Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, pictured above in her new swimsuit shoot, talked a bit about a possible Spice reunion at the Olympics in London next year:

"The Spice Girls are part of me and always will be. If it happened and felt natural and right, then I'm always open to singing with the other girls. Singing at the games is a great idea and would be an amazing opportunity and it's a sign the Brits are back. This is our time. Everything is circular and now there's a British pop revival."

How cool would that be? Bring it on!

Security check

Yesterday, at Los Angeles airport LAX, Rihanna was forced to stand to attention so security could give her the once over. It's times like that when celebrities must remember they're just like any other and this can happen to them as well.

Unless of course the security guards were fans themselves and picked her out of the line for that reason.

Here's the birth certificate

The White House released the long form of President Barack Obama's birth certificate Wednesday in response to questions about whether he was really born in the U.S. The certificate says Obama was born in Hawaii, which makes him eligible to hold the office of president. Obama released a standard short form before he was elected in 2008, but requested copies of his original birth certificate from Hawaii officials this week in hopes of quieting the lingering controversy.

White House spokesman Jay Carney says Obama felt the debate over his birthplace had become a "sideshow" that was bad for the country and political debate.

Haha, now all the stupid 'birthers' at Townhall, OneNewsNow, Hot Air and WorldNetDaily need to find something new to bitch about. Where's the birth certificate? It's right here! What a horrible day this must be for them. Lovin' it!

Preview: Gaga on Ellen

Lady Gaga stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres show on Tuesday to perform her latest hit single “Judas” for the first time on TV. The singer also sat down for an interview, in which she talked about her upcoming album, HBO special and much more. The show airs on tomorrow, so go and check it out!

Of course, I will post footage here tomorrow as well!

Robin Hood

Lady Gaga has partnered with Robin Hood Foundation, New York’s biggest poverty-fighting organization, to lauch a Facebook contest and donate $1 million to five charities that benefit homeless youth in New York City. Fans can vote for which organization most deserves the money. Great news!

Kylie EP

To celebrate the start of the North American leg of the Aphrodite Live Tour this week, Kylie Minogue is releasing a special EP containing remixes and live versions of her hit singles. Check out the absolutely gorgeous cover above!

The EP consists of 5 live recordings, three from a semi-acoustic BBC Live Lounge session – “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head,” “All The Lovers” and “Get Outta My Way”, and two recorded live in New York in October 2009 during Kylie’s first North American Tour – “Better Than Today” and “Confide In Me”. As a special fan treat the EP also includes a short film featuring behind the scenes footage of Kylie on tour plus original tour wardrobe sketches by Dolce & Gabbana.

In addition a new remix EP for the song “Put Your Hands Up” will be released on May 31st which will include the album track with brand new remixes including the Pete Hammond remix that Kylie shared with fans as a thank you for the support of the song during the live shows on the European leg of the tour. Kylie sent the following message when she posted a lyric video with the remix on her youtube channel: “Thank you all for making Aphrodite Les Folies’ such an amazing experience for me. Those of you who have been to a show will know that ‘Put Your Hands Up’ goes OFF! So as a tour thank you I wanted to share this 80′s-tastic remix by the legendary Pete Hammond. Enjoy!!”

Santa Monica

And finally, I don't think this was actually a single, but it's one of the best album tracks, so please enjoy Savage Garden singing Santa Monica.

Truly madly deeply

I believe this was their biggest hit, Truly Madly Deeply, by Savage Garden.

To the moon and back

Also from Savage Garden's debut album, here's one of my favorite songs of them, To The Moon And Back.

I want you

To celebrate the fact I re-bought myself Savage Garden's debut album, let's do some hits from the record, shall we? To start with, here's I Want You.

Savage Garden

Do you remember Savage Garden, the band that brought us the very hot (and gay) Darren Hayes? I used to own their first album, but it got lost or broken somewhere along the line, so today I ordered myself a new copy, for only 3,99 at Play. It will be great listening to this album again for the first time in about ten years. Here's the tracklist:

"To the Moon and Back"
"Carry on Dancing"
"Tears of Pearls"
"I Want You"
"Truly Madly Deeply"
"Violet"
"All Around Me"
"Universe"
"A Thousand Words"
"Break Me Shake Me"
"Mine"
"Santa Monica"

Hide and seek

Telephone - live in Antwerp

Enjoy Lady Gaga singing Telephone, and doing her Born This Way speech, during the Monster Ball Tour at Sportpaleis Antwerpen, During the speech, there's a rather loud guy in the audience shouting all the time, but at around 3.30 the singing starts.

Smash hit album

News in from the Official Charts Company, officially confirms that Take That have sold 2 million copies of their hit album Progress. In this age of downloading, this is a pretty huge number, so congratulations to the group for having such a massive smash hit album.

Can't wait for the tour!

Big thunder accident

Around 2:50 pm yesterday, pieces of decorative faux rock at Disneyland Paris’ Big Thunder Mountain Railroad roller coaster attraction fell and struck guests riding the attraction. Five guests were hurt. Four were treated at the park, however one ‘serious’ head injury was taken to the hospital.

The fallen ‘rock’, made of a special mix of fiberglass and wood, was said to be from the final lift hill scene (“Lift C”), during the simulated earthquake scene. The attraction is closed pending inspection as is standard procedure for incidents like these.

Black star tour

A while ago, Avril Lavigne announced the Asian dates for her upcoming Black Star Tour. However, for Europe, North America and the rest of the world, there is no word on dates yet. What we do know, is that according to Avril herself, the show will be different from the last one (The Best Damn Tour):

"It'll most likely be a little more intimate. I'll rock out and have a good time with the band, but I want to also kinda strip it down a little more".

Hopefully she'll plan a show at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam.

Nuclear hellstorm

Guantanamo interrogators have uncovered a determined attempt by al-Qaeda to attack Western countries using chemical or nuclear weapons, according to top-secret files that are now in the hands of Wikileaks.  One of the terrorist group’s most senior figures warned that al-Qaeda had obtained and hidden a nuclear bomb in Europe that would be detonated if Osama bin Laden was killed or captured. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the al-Qaeda mastermind currently facing trial in America over the 9/11 atrocities, was involved in a range of plans including attacks on US nuclear plants and a “nuclear hellstorm” plot in America.

A number of the conspiracies admitted by detainees during interrogation in Cuba seem improbable, but other plans were detailed and thoroughly analysed. Some detainees displayed an apparently comprehensive knowledge of Western countries’ defences against nuclear attack.

According to the US WikiLeaks files, a Libyan detainee, Abu Al-Libi, “has knowledge of al-Qaeda possibly possessing a nuclear bomb”. Al-Libi, the operational chief of al-Qaeda and a close associate of Osama bin Laden before his detention, allegedly knew the location of a nuclear bomb in Europe that would be detonated if bin Laden were killed or captured.

Scary stuff!

Haven't had enough yet? Check back tomorrow for four more videos!

Recorded live in New York City, enjoy Jennifer Lopez singing my favorite song of hers: Play.

'Now mister DJ, I've asked you three times... just play my motherfucking song!'

Live: Feelin' so good

Unfortunately I don't know where this way filmed, but it's a great performance nonetheless: Jennifer Lopez singing Feelin' So Good.

Live: Waiting for tonight

As I promised yesterday, get ready for four more Jennifer Lopez live videos. To start with, here she is singing Waiting For Tonight on Fashion Rocks 2007.

It's Chick-Fil-A boycott week

Remember, this week is Chick Fil-A boycott week! You shouldn't buy any 'food' (I use the term loosely) from Chick-Fil-A in any event, since it's basically bad for your health, and certainly causes a lot of animal harm in factory farming, but in the week of April 25-30 you should definitely not pay them any visits.

You see, a while ago a Chick-Fil-A franchise donated resources to Exodus International, a ridiculous hate groupd that claims they can somehow 'cure' (even if they could, by the way, I wouldn't want to be 'cured'), causing, obviously, and rightly so, a huge boycott by gays and lesbians.

However, hate group the American Family Association (here they are again...) is always to be counted upon, so they're launching a counter rally, called the BuyCOTT (are we laughing yet?), in which they urge their redneck members to buy as much Chick-Fil-A products as possible during the April 25-30 week.

So, as I said before, it's better for both your health as well as animal rights to skip Chick-Fil-A any time of the year, but please especially boycott them during this period.

Unfair termination

Madonna yesterday began her legal defence against workers at one of her African charity projects trying to sue her for unfair dismissal. Eight staff at the failed £9million Raising Malawi Academy for Girls claim they were let go without proper procedures. They say they were made to sign an "unfair" termination deal.

But in papers filed to a Malawi court Madonna said: "There is nothing unfair about the termination. It was necessitated by genuine economic reasons." Madonna, who adopted two children from Malawian orphanages, said her charity opted to end funding "after a careful review".

Madonna being fair? Call the papers!

X Factor judge

Former Spice Girl Mel B is to be an X Factor judge on the Australian version of the show. Pregnant Mel, 35, will join Natalie Imbruglia and Ronan Keating on the panel. She is likely to be confirmed in the role this week, say media reports Down Under.

Mel B has already sought advice from Aussie Dannii Minogue, asking her on Twitter: "Need your help with something."

DJ Howard

Take That are busy rehearsing for their record-breaking Progress Live 2011 Tour - but at least one member is also looking ahead to after the stadium shows. Howard Donald has booked in huge gigs DJing in Ibiza this summer after getting the call from dance don Judge Jules.

Howard will spin house music at superclub Eden just three weeks after the band's last Progress Live date in Munich. His Judgement Sundays bookings, starting on August 21, put him up there among big-name DJs such as Marco V, Eddie Halliwell, Ferry Corsten and Judge Jules himself. DJ Judge JulesSo far Howard has two nights lined up at Eden's room 2 but is likely to be looking around for other bookings on the White Isle.

A source says: "Howard's been DJing for years now after taking it up when he was in the wilderness after the group's split in 1996. At first he wasn't taken very seriously but now he's well respected. He's focused on the tour right now but is also excited about these DJ dates. To get the call from Judge Jules is a big deal. He'll be playing alongside huge names from house and techno but it will certainly be a different story to live shows with his group."

Potential and your destiny

Lady Gaga revealed some new details about her music video for “Judas,” which is scheduled to premiere on American Idol next week. The singer told MSN Canada that the video, co-directed by Gaga and Laurieann Gibsion, is a metaphor about forgiveness and it “puts destiny above all things and postures that the mistakes in your life are in fact not mistakes at all, they are just part of your overarching potential and your destiny.”

“I want to allow the video to speak for itself but I will say that the theme of the video and the way that I wanted to aesthetically portray the story was as a motorcycle Fellini movie where the apostles are revolutionaries in a modern-day Jerusalem. And I play Mary Magdalene leading them into the town where we meet Jesus and I will leave the rest for you to see. But it’s meant more to celebrate faith than it is to challenge it.”

Visit MSN.com to read the full interview.

5x Jaws victims

A while ago I did a top ten of my favorite Scream deaths, and now it's time to do the same for my all time favorite movie series: Jaws. Here we go:

1) Christine Watkins (Jaws 1, and pictured above)
2) Quint (Jaws 1)
3) Sean Brody (Jaws The Revenge)
4) Eddie Marchand (Jaws 2)
5) Alex Kintner (Jaws 1)

Since 5 of them really stand out, I decided to do a top 5 instead of a top 10 this time. What are your favorites?

Enjoy the summer

Kylie Minogue recorded a new commercial for the Golf Cabrio, titled Enjoy The Summer. Check it out above.

Pop battle

Thanks to the 16 people who voted on last week's poll 'what's your favorite Scream movie'. Here are the results:

Scream 1 - 4 votes
Scream 2 - 1 vote
Scream 3 - 2 votes
Scream 4 - 9 votes

Now, for my new poll, it's a battle between Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Who do you like best? Voting's on!

Facebook post

Kylie Minogue's hot dancer Jason Beitel posted this picture of himself, posing in front of the We Are One promotional poster in Tokyo, on his Facebook page.

We Are One is the benefit single Kylie will release this week in aid of the victims of the earthquake and tsunami earlier this year.

Jason, of course, was in Japan because of the Aphrodite Live shows in Tokyo and Osaka. The Japanese leg of the tour is now finished, and it's on to Canada and the USA.

Let's get loud - live on TV

And finally, for today, live on Dancing With The Stars, here's Jennifer Lopez singing Let's Get Loud.

More to come tomorrow!

No me ames - live in New York

Together with husband Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez singing No Me Ames at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Do it well - live in New York

Live from Madison Square Garden in New York, enjoy Jennifer Lopez singing Do It Well, complete with fireworks!

If you had my love - live in Chicago

With Jennifer Lopez' new song On The Floor being a smash hit and her album Love? on the way, I think it's about time for her to do a tour. So, to get in the mood, four videos today from J.Lo live in concert.

The first one: If You Had My Love, at United Center in Chicago.

New music

Beyonce and husband Jay-Z leave the Meurice Hotel on Monday to go about their day in Paris, France.

Beyonce and Jay have been in town for the past few days and arrived in Paris with musical equipment to work on new music. “They’ve set up a studio in another suite and have been working nights on her album,” a source told People.

Co-headlining

Maroon 5 will hit the road this summer with Train!

“We’re very excited about our summer tour,” frontman Adam Levine said. “Tickets go on sale for the fan club April 26…and for the rest of the country, April 29 and 30. We’ll see you there!”

Gavin DeGraw will serve as the opening act for the first leg of the tour, while Matt Nathanson will open for the tour’s second leg.

Tori in Vienna

Just over a week ago, Ticketone, a European ticketing vendor, posted an announcement on their Slovak website that Tori would be playing at Vienna’s Stadthalle on October 25th. While that announcement has since been removed, Austrian ticket vendor oeticket.com, which TicketOne indicated was the source for the information they posted, has since added a listing for the show on that date and appears to be selling some tickets to the concert (in the middle rear and right side of the orchestra).

While there still hasn’t been any indication that Tori will be performing live this year from official sources, this date does fit nicely into the Europe in October/North America in November timeframe CharityBuzz alleged when contacted about the ticket auction they held earlier this year. And although Wiener Stadthalle does not list this performance in their calendar, they did say that Tori would be playing the venue in the Autumn but did not provide any further details.

Thanks to Tori fansite Undented.

It serves them right

A teenager has been flown to Perth for surgery after being bitten by a shark he lured towards the shore. The boy was bitten on the left heel while he was cleaning fish at Red Bluff, 140 kilometres north of Carnarvon, about 9:00pm. The manager of a nearby campsite, Bec Caldwell, says the teenager used the carcass of a fish to lure the 3 ft reef shark towards him. She says the boy was bitten when he was knocked over by a wave. The boy spent the night in the town’s hospital and is being transferred to Perth.

Another man was bitten on the finger by a reef shark today when he put his hand into its mouth to pose for a photo.

Stupid idiots...

Shark bite

A 49-year-old surfer from Deltona got the year’s first shark bite out of the way, a Volusia County Beach Patrol officer said Saturday. Ronald White took a nibble to his right ankle Friday in about 3 feet of water off the Beachway Avenue approach in New Smyrna Beach, agency spokeswoman Capt. Tammy Marris said.

“By the bite, it was a pretty small shark — probably a 1 to 2 footer,” Marris said. White, who didn’t see the shark that bit him, was treated for the minor injury on-scene and declined further treatment. Marris said she hasn’t seen sharks in the water this year, but she has seen several stingrays.

Judas - the video is coming

The wait is almost over for Lady Gaga’s highly-anticipated music video for “Judas.” The clip, directed by Gaga herself in collaboration with friend and choreographer Laurieann Gibson, is set to premiere on American Idol on the first week of May. The forthcoming video was filmed earlier this month in Los Angeles and features Lady Gaga playing Mary Magdalene and actor Norman Reedus in the role of Judas.

Gaga on Ellen

Lady Gaga is coming to Ellen! Gaga has been confirmed to appear on the show on April 28th to give a spectacular performance of her new single. Then she will sit down with Ellen for an exclusive interview. Be sure to tune in to NBC on Thursday to catch the episode and check your local listings for details.

Tour instructions

Brtney Spears has given caterers strict instructions not to make any junk food because she's not allowed it.Hot dogs, pizza and cookie dough ice cream have all been blacklisted on the Femme Fatale Tour. Staff can't even look forward to having the odd beer to unwind after shows either as Brit has banned alcohol too.

They are going to have to listen to Michael Jackson songs constantly. Britney has requested that Jacko's albums be played on repeat in her dressing rooms. She has stockpiled his tour DVDs and enlisted the help of his dance team to recreate his routines.

Jailed

Linsay Lohan was sentenced to 120 days' jail for violating probation - after she walked out of a store without paying for a £1,500 necklace. She was also told to do 480 hours' community service, which will include working in a morgue.

Stupid bitch...

Katy and Peter

Before her California Dreams Tour show at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam (with me there, obviously) Katy Perry was being interviewed by Dutch presenter Peter van der Vorst.

Check it out above.

All the lovers - live in Tokyo

The final song of the show, All The Lovers, during the Aphrodite Live show in Tokyo.

On a night like this - live in Tokyo

On A Night Like This was the first encore of the Aphrodite Les Folies Tour, and it had all the water effects kicking in big time. Of course when Kylie Minogue used the same song as her first encore during the Aphrodite Live version of the show in Tokyo, we were all wondering if it could still hold.

Yes, it could! Kylie doesn't need any special effects, her voice alone is enough to make it a fantastic song!

I should be so lucky - live in Tokyo

The stage might be smaller than during the Aphrodite Les Folies Tour, but Kylie Minogue could stand on a cardboard box and still entertain the crowd! Check out I Should Be So Lucky, live during the Aphrodite Live Tour in Tokyo, earlier today according to European times.

The tour is obvious

Ticketone have removed the details of the Tori Amos show at Stadthalle in Vienna as of today. Obviously, this doesn't mean the show won't take place. In fact, usually when official ticket sites post shows and remove them later on. these shows prove to be true.

Don't worry, European Tori Amos fans, a tour is more than obvious!

Altered setlist

Today (because of the time difference, the show has actually ended yet) was the first Aphrodite Live show. Obviously the stage was different from the Aphrodite Les Folies Tour, but the setlist was altered a bit as well. 'Everything Is Beautiful' and 'Slow' were replaced by '2 Hearts, ' In Your Eyes', and 'I Should Be So Lucky'.

As of now, I'm looking for videos from the Tokyo Aphrodite Live show, so stay tuned!

Que viva

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly hoping to launch her own reality show. J.Lo is teaming up with American Idol producer Simon Fuller for a project that would follow her and husband Marc Anthony as they tour Latin America and search for undiscovered musical talent, EW reports.

The show, tentatively titled Que Viva, is in the early stages of development, according to the magazine. No word yet on whether Jennifer, who’s only signed on through the end of this Idol season, will be staying on the judges table.

Ke$ha's kingdom

Ke$ha meets up with Alice in Wonderland’s White Rabbit on Thursday at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, Florida. Ke$ha is in Orlando this weekend to continue her Get $leazy tour, performing two nights at the House of Blues.

Easy road

Beyonce and Jay-Z are reportedly in Los Angeles to record a new song featuring Kanye West.

I know loads of people are into Kanye's music, but I'm most definitely not. Too bad Beyonce is taken the easy road...

Backstage in Vegas

Celine Dion has dazzled thousands of spectators with her new show at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. However, for Celine, preparations begin backstage well before she steps onto the stage to perform. Click here to see photos of Celine in her dressing room, captured by photographer GĂ©rard Schachmes.

W.E. - premiere date

It seems that Madonna's W.E is set to premiere in Denmark on November 10th this year.

The official premiere date appears in the new calendar published by the movie's distribution company for the Danish market Filmcompagniet.

American E.T.

And there you have it! Katy Perry on American Idol last night, singing E.T.

Alien pods

Katy Perry had a sci-fi look in a futuristic low-cut catsuit and a crown studded with what look like alien pods on American Idol earlier this week.

I'll find some video for you!
